BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh elected as MEMBER, rajya sabha

BJP National General Secretary and the newly elected Member of parliament to Rajya Sabha Shri Arun Singh was born on 4 April, 1965 in the remote village of Baidha in the district of Mirzapur (Uttar Pradesh). He is a renowned Chartered Accountant and academician.

Currently Shri Singh is the BJP National General Secretary, In-Charge of the BJP National Headquarters and in-charge of Odisha state BJP from the year 2014. Before assuming the post of National General Secretary, Shri Singh was the National Secretary of the party and Co-Head of BJP’s National Membership Programme whereafter Bhartiya Janta Party has become the world’s largest party.

He has been associated with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh from his early student life and started his political career as a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha. He also assumed the office of Vice President and National Treasurer of the youth wing of BJP (BJYM) from 1999 to 2004.

Shri Arun Singh who was elected to the upper house unopposed from Uttar Pradesh took oath on 9 Dec, 2019.
