BJP President Expresses Pride Over India Becoming 5th Largest Economy With $2.94 Trillion GDP

BJP National President Shri JP Nadda on 23 February, 2020 expressed his pride over India becoming the fifth-largest economy in the world with a GDP of $2.94 Trillion.

In a press release Shri Nadda said that the Indian economy is steadily moving forward towards USD 5 trillion, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

He said India is now the 5th largest economy in the world with a GDP of USD 2.94 Trillion. Under the visionary leadership of PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji, the country is moving steadily towards USD 5 trillion economy goal. This is the impact of the progressive economic schemes and measures of the govt, Giving credit to the Centre, the BJP President further said that the country has seen tremendous growth in all sectors due to the “visionary steps and futuristic budget.”

“India has shown tremendous growth in all sectors, with a rise in purchasing power parity, reflecting the positive impact of visionary steps and futuristic budget of the government”.

He also added that the country’s progress is also clearly seen in all sectors, with a rise in purchasing power parity.

He said the country’s next major target is achieving a $5 trillion economy by 2024-25. The Indian government on several occasions has stated that it has been setting the foundation of the ambitious target. Addressing the 2019 Republic Summit, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had said, “Along with constant efforts to improve the standard of living in India, the country has also set an aim of $5 trillion economy, and I am confident that with the motto of ‘Nation First’ we will get the desired result of all our efforts and the country will also achieve all its goals.”

Taking to Twitter, Shri Nadda stated that the country is “steadily” moving towards Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of becoming a $5 trillion economy.
