BJP National Working President Shri JP Nadda visited Haryana on a two-day Pravas starting from July 26, 2019 and took part in the party’s core committee meetings with the state leadership. On 28 July, 2019 he participated in a plantation drive in Rohtak and listened Prime Minister’s radio program “Mann Ki Baat” with BJP Karyakartas.

Shri Nadda also held talks with the state leaders about forming a strategy for the upcoming Vidhan Sabha elections which are scheduled to be held towards the end of the year in Haryana. Shri JP Nadda also took a review of the BJP’s membership drive which is going on throughout the country.

Earlier, Shri Nadda had also visited Maharashtra and Jharkhand and held talks with the State BJP leadership and party Karyakartas for the upcoming elections. State elections in Haryana, Jharkhand and Maharashtra are scheduled to be held later this year.

Interacting with party Karyakartas BJP National Working President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda has asked the members of the party’s poll-management team to publicise the BJP’s policies and the government’s welfare initiatives through social media. He, however, asked them to exercise utmost caution while uploading content on social media and verify its authenticity beforehand. He advised them to develop a research centre at the media centre located in Panchkula.

Appreciating the efforts put in by the members of the poll-management team towards the party’s victory in the recent Lok Sabha elections, Shri Nadda asked them to move ahead by setting specific targets for the upcoming elections to the Haryana Assembly.

The BJP Working President asserted that the party, which had 11 crore members, now aims to have 20 crore members. He participated in the membership drive and signed the membership forms filled by several entrants to the party at Rohtak. Shri Nadda also planted a sapling on the second day of his stay at Rohtak.

Criticising the previous Congress regimes, the BJP Working President Shri JP Nadda also said corruption was quite common in government services under Congress rule in Haryana but the BJP government has done away with the culture of bribe prevalent in the state.

“Earlier there used to be corruption in government services in Haryana. Under the BJP rule, the culture of the bribe has been done away with. Transfer industry used to run at the time of Congress regime, now no employee is harassed in name of transfers,” said Shri Nadda while addressing a meeting of BJP Karyakartas.

“Along with making Congress-free India we have to make BJP’s India. Congress free India means corruption-free India and Commission-free India. BJP’s India means Ujjawala Bharat, Ayushman Bharat, Saubhgaya Bharat and Ujala Bharat,” said Shri Nadda.

He also slammed opposition parties for ‘dynasty politics’ and ‘caste-based’ politics while asserting that even a common party worker in BJP can reach the top position. “Out of about 1300 political parties, some are doing politics of dynasty while others are doing caste politics. Only BJP is the party in which a common worker can reach up to the top level. Fathers of none of those who are at the top in BJP were in politics,” said Shri Nadda.

Haryana Chief Minister Shri Manohar Lal Khattar was also present at the meeting. He reiterated the BJP’s commitment of making “Congress-free India” saying that it means corruption-free and “commission-free” India.
