FOR DEVELOPMENT OF J&K, MODI GOVT ALLOCATES MORE THAN 2 LAKH CR: RAJNATH SINGH

Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh addressed the Jammu & Kashmir Jan Samvad virtual rally on 14 June, 2020.

  • Speaking to Karyakartas, Shri Singh said, “I bow to the martyred soldiers in Jammu and Kashmir. Sarpanch Ajay Pandita ji has been killed in Kashmir in a cowardly manner, I salute his memory. I also salute Pandit Premnath Dogra ji and Mohammad Maqbool Sherwani who hoisted the tricolor in Kashmir in 1947”.
  • He said the Modi government has resolved for a united and developed nation since its inception and we have fulfilled it by abrogating Article 370 & 35A.
  • To address the developmental needs of Jammu and Kashmir the Modi government has allocated more than 2 lakh crore rupees from 2014 to 2019.
  • He said PM Shri Modi ji has spoken about a self-reliant India.
  • “I want to assure you, the direction in which India is moving nothing in the world can stop us from becoming self-sufficient in the next few years” he said.
