Speaking on the Balidan Diwas of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee on 23 June BJP National President Shri JP Nadda said, “On the occasion of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee’s Balidan Diwas, we have all gathered to contemplate and to think on how the party can be strengthened further by assimilating the vision of this great patriot of India”.

  • He said BJP is the only party that has served millions and millions of people during this corona crisis and strengthened the party by taking advantage of digital medium in this transition period.
  • Shri Nadda said Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee was from an elite family and was a very promising student. He was rich in multidimensional talent. At the age of just 33, he was appointed the youngest Vice Chancellor of the University of Calcutta and finally dedicated his life for the unity and integrity of the country.
  • The BJP National President said Dr. Mookerjee achieved all these positions on the basis of his scholarship and hard work, not with the support or help of anyone.
  • Shri Nadda said Dr. Mookerjee was an incomparable hero of India’s unity and integrity.
