Prime Minister Narendra Modi to kick-start BJP membership drive on July 6

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will begin BJP membership drive on 6th of this month from Varanasi on the birth anniversary of Shyama Prasad Mookerjee. Home Minister Shri Amit Shah will launch the drive from Telangana while other party leaders will begin it in different parts of the country.

The Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shri Prahlad Joshi informed the media. All senior leaders of the party will also participate in the launching event from across the country.

Shri Joshi said, talking about the membership drive, Prime Minister said, the campaign should be all inclusive and widely distributed where an individual from all walks of the life could participate. He also said that at least five trees should be planted at every booth holding membership drive.

Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh, BJP Working President Shri JP Nadda and other leaders were present at the meeting.
