SURESH ANGADI WAS AN EXCEPTIONAL KARYAKARTA: PM

Minister of State for railways, Shri Suresh C. Angadi (1 June 1955 – 23 September 2020) passed away at AIIMS in Delhi. He was 65 years old. The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has condoled the demise of the minister.

  • The Prime Minister said, “Shri Suresh Angadi was an exceptional Karyakarta, who worked hard to make the Party strong in Karnataka. He was a dedicated MP and effective Minister, admired across the spectrum. His demise is saddening. My thoughts are with his family and friends in this sad hour. Om Shanti.”
  • The Union Cabinet on 24 September organized condolence meeting and also observed silence for two minutes in the memory of Shri Suresh C. Angadi. As a mark of respect to the departed dignitary, the National Flag flew at half mast in Delhi on September 24, 2020 on the buildings where it is usually flown.
