85% eligible population got first dose and 50% vaccinated with both the doses

As per the announcement of the Central government 85% eligible population got the first dose and over 50% of the adult population of India is now vaccinated with both the doses as on 05 December, 2021. It’s a big achievement for democracy and the undying spirit of the Government led by PM Shri Narendra Modi and the society to scale new heights has made this possible.

Congratulating on this occasion PM Shri Narendra Modi said, “India’s vaccination drive crosses another important milestone. Important to keep this momentum to strengthen the fight against COVID-19. And yes, keep following all other COVID-19 related protocols including masking up and social distancing”.

Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya in his message said, “Congratulations India. It is a moment of great pride as over 50% of the eligible population are now fully vaccinated Syringe We will win the battle against COVID-19 together”.
