The Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda has appointed five-time MLA Shri Rajeev Bindal as the new BJP President of Himachal Pradesh on 23 April, 2023. Shri Bindal, who hails from Solan, has been a minister and assembly speaker.
