The Gujarat Assembly Election campaign is going on in full swing now. The Bharatiya Janata Party has intensified its campaigning in the state. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is leading the Bharatiya Janata Party election campaign from the front by holding multiple Rallies and Road shows. Ahead of the first phase of elections, Shri Narendra Modi addressed several public meetings at Veraval, Dhoraji, Amreli and Botad in Gujarat on November 20, 2022. During these Rallies, speaking to the people, Shri Modi highlighted how people used to underestimate Gujarat because of its conditions in the past and how today, Gujarat is reaching new highs.

VERAVAL

‘BJP government is most concerned about mothers-sisters-daughters’

Talking about the development of ports and the marine industry in Gujarat, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi said, “We have started the Sagarkhedu scheme worth thousands of crores to provide facilities to the fishermen as well as to the farmers”. The PM further added that due to the double-engine government of Gujarat and the Centre, we have created a separate ministry for fisheries to provide support to the farmer of the country.

Hitting out at the opposition, Shri Modi said that the people of Congress neglected the health needs and infrastructure of Gujarat for decades and left people to fend for themselves. He further stated how the entire landscape of health infrastructure has been revitalised under the BJP government. He added, “The BJP government is most concerned about mothers-sisters-daughters, their lives and their health.”

DHORAJI

‘Gujarat is at the forefront of development’

Addressing his second rally in Dhoraji, Shri Modi started his address by highlighting that Gujarat, today, is at the forefront of development, investment, manufacturing and exports; and the credit goes out to the hard-working people of Gujarat. He further addressed the people on how Gujarat used to suffer from water scarcity for decades and the Congress-led government ignored these issues altogether. The PM added that the work done by the BJP government to solve the water crisis in Gujarat has brought prosperity to the state. Calling out the fallacies of the opposition, PM Shri Modi iterated how the Congress today is walking shoulder to shoulder with those who opposed development in Gujarat in every aspect possible. Shri Modi finally addressed the people on how an ‘Aatmanirbhar’ Gujarat is the key to ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ and said, “Entrepreneurship is the strength of Gujarat…, in the past 20 years, we created the right environment for industrial development, established peace.”

AMRELI

‘BJP transformed picture of Gujarat’s agriculture sector’

Continuing his election campaigning spree, PM Shri Narendra Modi addressed his third mega rally in Gujarat’s Amreli. He appealed to the people of Amreli to make the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party victorious in all the polling booths. The PM highlighted the transformed picture of Gujarat’s agriculture sector under the BJP government. He said, “Today, the agricultural growth rate in Gujarat has remained in double digit for years. We are ensuring that the farmers get sufficient urea, cheap urea. The government buys a sack of urea from abroad, it costs Rs 2,000. The government is giving the same sack worth Rs 2,000 to the farmers for less than Rs 270.”

Remembering a great son of the state, Shri Modi said, “I will give you another example of how the BJP government respects your sentiment. Our government has the pride and good fortune of converting Mazdar village into Kagdham. This is the real tribute to Kag Bapu. But it is sad that Congress never thought of doing this. I announced this during my Sadbhavna fast in Amreli.”

BOTAD

‘Relation between Gujarat and BJP is unbreakable’

Addressing a massive rally in Botad PM Shri Narendra Modi said, “The mood of the people of Botad and the people of entire Saurashtra is saying that in this upcoming election the opposition will again bite the dust and lose the Gujarat assembly election. BJP government is going to be formed once again in Gujarat. The relation between Gujarat and BJP is unbreakable. Because this relation is of development and trust. I have relation with Botad since my Jana Sangh days.”

“Earlier vote was sought in names of grandfather, father and others. Then came time votes were sought in name of caste and religion. It is BJP that has made development on issue in politics. BJP has compelled other parties to seek vote on development,” said the PM.

Shri Modi also listed out various health schemes initiated by the BJP government. He said, “Healthcare services have improved under the ‘double engine’ government. 20 years ago there were only 11 medical colleges in Gujarat, today there are 36 medical colleges in the state. 20 years ago there were 4 dental colleges in Gujarat, today there are 13 dental colleges in Gujarat.” The PM also urged the people to make the BJP winner in every polling booth.

SURENDRANAGAR

‘Gujarat has given a new culture to country’s democracy’
