We are publishing the full text of the Resolution 01 for our esteemed readers:

The Last three years of BJP-led Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister of Sh. Narendra Modi has led India to the path of fast and sustainable economic development. Our Government’s people-oriented policies and firm decisions towards making India a self-reliant, self-confident and progressive Nation have instilled faith and confidence amongst the common people towards the political leadership of the Country. These policies and decisions have established India’s credibility on World forums as a fast growing and progressive Nation. Our Government under the able leadership of our Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi has been diligently working towards fulfilling aspirations and expectations of all the downtrodden and marginalized sections of our society. Majority of the schemes and policies launched by the Central government are aimed at benefitting people at the bottom of the society.

It is for the people’s friendly policies and schemes that the government has rolled out, the poor have started feeling a sense of trust and belonging in the present Government. People reposed faith and respect in the leadership of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi because the policies and people’s oriented schemes have delivered what the Government has promised. This trust and faith in the minds and hearts of the millions of common people across the country, has been proved again in the mandate and overwhelming support given to the Party in the last many elections. Our Government is committed to bring inclusive development of all sectors and sections; and it has been very careful in identifying the priorities while achieving those goals. The Government has worked very hard to ensure that benefits of this process of development should reach the poorest of the poor at the lowest level of the society. The government has without any doubt accomplished an unprecedented task.
On one hand the Government has made sincere efforts to get the GST bills passed in the Parliament so that the whole country benefits from economic development, on the other, it has achieved success in bringing a discipline in the budget so as to accelerate the economic activities across all sectors. In the field of science and technology, the Bharatiya Janata Party Government led by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, has achieved unprecedented successes especially in the field of Communications and Defense sector. The milestones achieved in these two fields will strengthen India’s position as a powerful Nation in the World. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has taken key steps in bringing transparency in politics and electoral process. Even his political opponents are appreciating his achievements in these fields. Under his able leadership, the Government has been successful in bringing out the National Health Policy 2017. This policy is a commendable step towards making India a healthy nation with a healthy society. This policy will go a long way in ensuring good health for every Indian and it will also help realize the dream of a healthy India. The country has long been striving to be self-reliant. The success of Make-In-India scheme that was envisioned by none other than our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has put India on the World’s economic map. Be it in the field of manufacturing, construction and other sectors, the Make-In-India scheme is achieving phenomenal success and is helping India in becoming self-reliant in many sectors. India is now firmly competing with many developed nations across the globe.

Government scores high on every parameter: Election results are the proof

Results of the recently held Assembly elections in five states across the Country has established Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi as the most effective and popular leader after Independence. His popularity among the people of India has confirmed that he is the most admired and respected leader since the time of Independence. This mandate becomes all the more important with the fact that Bharatiya Janata Party- led Central Government is celebrating the Birth Centenary Year (2017) of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya ji as the Poor Welfare Year. Success in assembly elections in as many states will help the Central Government reach the downtrodden and demonstrate inclusive growth. The success of the Party in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa, Manipur and local bodies / panchayat elections in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Odisha is the victory of people’s belief in the government. Party commends the organizational strategy of National President Shri Amit Shah ji and hard work of all karyakartas due to which party has won more than three fourth majority.

In 2017 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, the Party has got huge public support (in terms of votes) in comparison to the 2012 assembly elections. This time the Party (along with NDA partners) has received overwhelming 41 percent vote share, which translated into 325 seats from 403. Historically this is the biggest victory in Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. This victory in the assembly elections of Uttar Pradesh is also important because of the fact that the Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs by and large represent all the sections of the society and all areas too are well represented. The representation of all sections of the society be it rich-poor, urban-rural, backward, youth, women and peasants shows the widespread reach of the BJP. In Uttarakhand too, the Bharatiya Janata Party has achieved historic and unprecedented success. In Uttarakhand assembly elections, BJP got 46.5 percent of the votes and won 57 seats out of the total 70 assembly seats in the state. Here too, the Bharatiya Janata Party has got the mandate with over three fourth majority. The success of BJP in the Northeastern state of Manipur also proves that the trust in policies of the Central government under the leadership of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji have also reached the far flung areas of the Country. Bharatiya Janata Party did not enjoy much support in North Eastern states previously but things are changing now. People of the North Eastern States too have shown trust in the policies and schemes launched by the Central Government under the able leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. In Manipur, during the assembly election before the last one, BJP got mere 2.1 percent of the votes and the Party’s representation in the state assembly was zero. There was not a single BJP MLA in the state assembly in the previous assembly but in the Assembly elections in 2017, BJP got 36.3 percent of the votes and won 21 seats. At present, there is a government of BJP-led coalition in Manipur. The Bharatiya Janata Party has also made a comeback in Goa.

The party received highest vote percentage in the last assembly elections in Goa. In the Municipal Corporation elections in the State of Maharashtra, Bharatiya Janata Party won eight of the nine municipalities, while in the Mumbai Metropolitan Municipality BJP won 82 seats, which is Party’s best-ever tally.

In the recently concluded Panchayat elections in Odisha, BJP strengthened its position as the main opposition party in the State. The Party won all 9 seats in Kalahandi. In the elections of other States too, party has done well. Victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the assembly by-election in Rajasthan, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Assam proves that more and more people have reposed their faith in BJP and its people centric policies. The increase in Party’s vote percent in West Bengal by-election is also a pleasant development.

After the results of these assembly and other elections, it has become clear that BJP, under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has established its reach across the country by gaining confidence of the people because of effective implementation of the policies of public welfare. This belief and faith towards Bharatiya Janata Party Government, which is seen in people living in most states of the Country, is actually a result of faith towards the Central Government’s policies, schemes and its leadership.

The overwhelming public support that the party has received in most of the elections post-Demonetization reflects the public support to replacement the notes of Rs 1000 and Rs 500. It clearly means that the public fully supports Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji’s drive against corruption. The public support for Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi remains intact even after all major opposition political parties criticized the move to demonetize Rs 1000 and Rs 500 notes. Today, BJP and the NDA is ruling over 70% geographical area of the country. In as many as 17 states, the Bharatiya Janata Party and the National Democratic Alliance is running governments. As on date, the BJP not only has the highest number of Member of Parliaments across the country, but the Party also has the most number of MLAs across the states.

BJP’s development pledge along with 33 parties of NDA

Bharatiya Janata Party’s developmental policies are getting the support of 33 political parties of National Democratic Alliance. This coalition of 33 parties is BJP’s partner in its journey for the development pledge. The National Democratic Alliance having the representation of political parties, which represent every state, region, and society of our country, is working with complete unity under the leadership of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. In the states where Bharatiya Janata Party is part of the coalition, the party is following the policy of coalition and participating in government. In states where BJP has the majority government of its own, the Party is taking its NDA partners in governance. In Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Northeastern states there is constant increase in the number and strength of parties supporting NDA. In the political history of India, this is for the first time under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that a coalition is working wholeheartedly for the welfare of the people.

Successful Implementation of Welfare Schemes for the Poor within Three Years

The Central Government has achieved success by connecting the poor with the mainstream economy by opening 27.97 crore bank accounts under Jan Dhan Yojana. The mega scheme was aimed at bringing the poor into the mainstream of economic activity. The government has been able to achieve what was not even thought of in the last seven decades of independence. The credit goes to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Opening of bank accounts under Jan Dhan Yojna initiated positive action at the ground level and Rs 63,885 crore were deposited in these accounts under Jan Dhan Yojna. To help the economic activity rolling, the government has also given 6.6 crore loans or 33 lakhs crore under Mudra Yojna. These loans are aimed at promoting employment through startup and standup schemes.

To improve the standard of living of women in remote villages and poor households, the Central Government has given around 2 crore free LPG connections under the Ujjawala Scheme. Idea behind this scheme is to help improve the living conditions of poor women. They are exposed to harmful smoke during cooking which affects their lungs and overall health. Having LPG connections will help them use safe mode of cooking thereby improving their health. In the field of electrification also, the government has done a wonderful work. Despite seven decades of independence, there were over 18,000 villages across the country where there was no electricity. These villages were living in the dark and every activity would come to a halt at the sunset. However, the Government is making fast progress in providing electricity to these villages. The aim is to have electricity in all the 18,000 villages by 2018. The government has already completed the work of providing electricity to 12,586 villages. The government is also promoting use of energy efficient LED 4 bulbs to save electricity. By saving electricity, it will be able to supply electricity to more and more villages. The government has already distributed about 11.8 crore LED bulbs under the LED lighting scheme. By distributing energy efficient LED bulbs, the government has saved electricity worth Rs 11,330 crore. The government has achieved unprecedented success in passing the Enemy Property (Amendment and Validation) Bill. The Government has kept special focus on fishermen in the coastal regions. Farmers have benefitted from schemes like crop insurance, soil health and Prime Minister Irrigation scheme. Under the leadership of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Government has been able to successfully roll out and implement schemes of public welfare. The continuing successes of the Bharatiya Janata Party in assembly and other elections have proved the faith of people in the party.

Wheel of Economic growth moving fast and firm

Breakthrough on GST: The Bharatiya Janata Party congratulates Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Shri Arun Jaitley for the passage of GST bill. It was a historic day when the BJP Government at the Centre was successful in getting the GST bill passed. Implementing this system will help improve economic activity in the country. The move will bring ease in doing business across sectors and will reduce barriers in economy. GST’s implementation is an important success in terms of business facilitation. It will have a positive effect on the common man and the business sector will grow, which in turn will create many employment opportunities. Due to GST, inflation will also be reduced. The passing of GST in terms of economic reforms is a historic achievement of the Central Government.

Budget 2017-18: The Bharatiya Janata Party commends the Budget presented by the Central government for 2017-18. On one hand this Budget is a reflection of the basic spirit of public welfare, on the other, it also takes care of the provisions that will help strengthen the financial structure of Indian economy. This time, the Central Government presented a single budget rather than presenting the railway budget separately. Idea is to have One Budget for One Nation. Since the Budget was presented on February 1st, there is an increased efficiency in implementation of schemes. The Central Government has been working on providing more employment and jobs to people in rural areas; this Budget has increased MNREGA allotment by Rs 11,000 crore to Rs 48,000 crore. This is done under the Employment Guarantee Scheme for rural areas. This means youth and job seekers living in rural India will have enough jobs at their doorstep. The Government’s decision to increase exemption limits in income tax slabs especially to the lower middle class is commendable. In the total outlay of 21.47 lakh crore in the Budget, preference has been given to the poor, labor, differently abled, women, child, construction sector, defense sector, infrastructure, health and medical, insurance and social security. The Budget has made provisions of Rs 2.74 lakh crore for the defense sector, Rs. 3.96 lakh crore for development of infrastructure, Rs 64000 crore for highway development, Rs 1.86 lakh crore for women welfare fund and one lakh rupees for railway safety. Clearly, the Budget has carefully allocated funds for high priority areas that will help country achieve higher economic growth where the poor also gets her / his due share in the development. Apart from this, the Budget has made provisions for other important schemes such as providing electricity to all the villages of the country till May 1, 2018. Rs 10 lakh crore have been provisioned towards giving easy loan to farmers. Funds have also been provisioned towards development of affordable housing for 1 crore families under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna till 2019. Separate fund have also been allocated for bringing more than 1 crore poor families above the poverty line till Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary. Similarly, the Budget has made provisions towards dedicated goals for all the public welfare schemes. On one hand this budget reflects the commitment and dedication of the Central government towards public welfare, while on the other hand it aims at strengthening infrastructure and accelerating developmental activity across sectors. For the first time since independence the Budget was passed and implemented before 31st march which is a big step towards fiscal discipline and economic growth.

Electoral reforms and transparency in donations

The Bharatiya Janata Party has always been in favor of bringing political clean money and transparency in electoral processes. Under the leadership of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Central Government has made a concerted initiative in this direction, reducing the cash limit of donation to political parties to Rs 2000 as compared to Rs 20,000 earlier. This is a historical step taken by Central government towards electoral reforms and bringing in clean money in political funding. For this historic decision, the Bharatiya Janata Party welcomes the decision taken by the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

Step towards self-reliance in defense sector

Bharatiya Janata Party has been the strongest supporter of achieving self-reliance in the defense sector. In this direction under the leadership of our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi successful test of indigenously made Super Sonic Interceptor was conducted on 1st March 2017.

India’s achievements in space

Under the able leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, ISRO has set the world record by successfully launching 104 satellites in space in one go. This has happened for the first time in the World that any space agency has successfully launched so many satellites in space. Earlier Russia had launched 37 satellites in the space. Under the dynamic leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi these steps of progress in space research have put our country at a higher pedestal. There was a time when India was dependent on other countries for launching the satellites in space, but Bharatiya Janata Party government is determined to achieve selfreliance in activities related to space and visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is commendable in this regard.

Bhim App

Since Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi assumed office in 2014, there has been wide-ranging and crucial work happening on Digital India. To promote and encourage digital transactions after demonetization, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi launched Bhim App, which became quite popular in no time. Even in the initial phase, the number of people who used this app was more than 1.25 crore.

National Health Policy

The Bhartiya Janata Party congratulates the Union Council of Ministers for proposing and thereafter approving the National Health Policy 2017. The Policy marks a historic moment in our endeavor to create a healthy India where everyone has access to quality healthcare. Under this policy for major diseases the Central government plans free help, to make tests and medicines cheap and easily available, integration of AYUSH systems, health facilities for old, reduce the cost of treatments and make them affordable for the poor. This policy has a fine balance of advanced technology and the benefits of traditional systems of medicines. The National Health Policy 2017 will prove to be an efficient program to create a healthy India.

India: the Brightest Nation on the Globe

After the formation of BJP government and Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi assuming the charge, India’s goodwill has increased at global level. The world is now looking towards India. All major reports and analysis emanating from the developed world have started considering India as a land of prospects. India’s relations with all the countries in the World have improved. India’s credibility has also significantly increased in the trade, strategic and diplomatic forums. The only reason for this change is the fact that there is a strong government in the country and India’s leadership is in the hands of Shri Narendra Modi, who is a very strong leader committed to development of his country and welfare of the people.Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s style of working, his policies dedicated to public welfare, his strong will and the strong leadership and capability has been accepted and recognized at the global level.

In his address to BJP MPs during the first Parliamentary meet in 2014 organized at the Central Hall of Parliament, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi while making the MPs aware of their responsibilities stated, “We are here not for any post or position but to fulfill hopes and aspirations of 125 crore Indians. That’s why post is a very big thing in life, charge and responsibility are biggest things. We will have to dedicate ourselves to complete them”. Hon’ble Prime Minister in the last three years of his tenure with his hard work has translated these words into actions and confidence amongst the people. This National Executive Council calls upon the Karyakartas in the Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Centenary Year to take a pledge that they will work hard to win the confidence of people through service. BJP calls upon the people of our country to take a pledge to form a government under the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi in 2019 in order to have the continuity of development and welfare policies for all in the country.
