BJP National President released BJP’s Sankalp Patra for Himachal Pradesh in Shimla

Hon’ble Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda ji released BJP’s Sankalp Patra for Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections in Shimla. Here are the key points:

  • It is the only Bharatiya Janata Party which is committed to the growth and development of Himachal Pradesh under the leadership and guidance of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. I have full confidence and faith that the so-called “electoral tradition” of the state will change and once again the “Lotus” will bloom in Himachal Pradesh. Historic victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party is certain in Himachal Pradesh.
  • The “Sankalp Patra” of the Bharatiya Janata Party is not merely an election manifesto, it is our roadmap for the development, growth and progress of Himachal Pradesh. Whereas the manifesto of the Congress party is visionless and “wajan-less” (lightweight). The Congress party has always betrayed the people of Himachal Pradesh. The growth and development of Himachal Pradesh has happened only when there is the Bharatiya Janata Party government in both the Centre and the state.
  • The Bharatiya Janata Party is highly committed to bring equality in our society. We will further empower our youth and our farmers. Our government will also ensure justice to government employees and also ensure faster development of religious tourism in the state. Whatever promises we make in our “Sankalp Patra”, we deliver much more than that. It is the solemn promise and commitment of the Bharatiya Janata Party. We have made 11 commitments in our “Sankalp Patra”, and we will deliver and fulfill all of them.
  • The Bharatiya Janata Party government will implement the Common Civil Code in Himachal Pradesh. Our government will get the survey done of all the Waqf properties in the state as per the law besides forming a judicial commission which will look into the legality of the misuse of these properties.
  • The Bharatiya Janata Party in Himachal Pradesh will also start the Mukhyamantri Annadata Samman Nidhi scheme under which the small farmers will get an annual amount of Rs 3000, which will be in addition to the Rs.6,000 which they are getting under the Pradhanmantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna.
  • The Bharatiya Janata Party government will create employment in a phased manner which will give jobs to over 8 lakh youths of Himachal Pradesh. All the villages across the state will be connected by pukka roads. The BJP government will also develop 5 new medical colleges in the state while the number of mobile clinics will be doubled in every Vidhan Sabha.
  • The Bharatiya Janata Party government in Himachal Pradesh will also start a new programme “Shakti” where an investment of Rs 12,000 crores will be done in next 10 years. Under this ambitious programme a transport and other infrastructure will be developed around all the famous temples across the state, while these places will also be connected with the Him Circuit to give a boost to religious tourism.
  • The Bharatiya Janata Party government will also limit GST on all materials used in the packaging of apples at 12%. Any additional GST will be paid by the state government.
  • The Bharatiya Janata Party government will also remove any disparity in the salaries of the state government employees. The grant given by the state government under the Hutatma Samman Rashi Yojna will also be substantially increased.
  • The Bharatiya Janata Party strongly believes that unless our women are empowered, till then the empowerment of their families and coming generations is not possible. I compliment and congratulate the Himachal Pradesh unit of the BJP which has come out with a separate Stri Shakti Sankalp Patra that focuses on women empowerment. It also comprises our 11 commitments for the women of Himachal Pradesh. This reflects our commitment and resolve to address the problems of women and ensure their empowerment.
  • Under the Mukhyamantri Shagun Yojana the financial aid given to girls of the BPL families will be increased from Rs 31,000 to Rs 51,000. The Bharatiya Janata Party government in Himachal Pradesh will also provide bicycles to all girl students studying in class sixth to class eighth free of cost, while girls enrolled in higher education will be given scooty.
  • The Bharatiya Janata Party government in Himachal Pradesh will also provide monetary aid of Rs 25,000 to all pregnant women in order to ensure good health of pregnant women and their new born babies.
  • The Bharatiya Janata Party will also start a new Devi Annapurna Yojna under which women belonging to poor families will be provided 3 free cooking gas cylinders every year free of cost. Similarly top 5000 girl students who pass class 12 from government schools will be given a monthly scholarship of Rs 2500 for their graduation studies.
  • The Bharatiya Janata Party government in Himachal Pradesh will construct two girls hostels in all the 12 districts which will be dedicated to girl students opting for higher studies. For women and girls, the Bharatiya Janata Party government  will also ensure 33% reservation in government jobs and in educational institutions.
  • The Bharatiya Janata Party goes to elections on its development policies and programmes and our good track record of governance. The people firmly believe in our policies and our leadership. They trust and support the Bharatiya Janata Party. This trust and faith in our party has multiplied under the dynamic and decisive leadership of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. That is why I have full confidence that the “Lotus” will once again bloom in Himachal Pradesh and the Bharatiya Janata Party will register a historic victory in the state.
