COVID-19 recovery rate improves above 25 per cent in country

The number of COVID-19 cases in the country has climbed to 35, 365 while the death toll rose to 1,152.
Health Ministry data said, the number of active COVID-19 cases stood at 25,148. As many as  9,064 people have been cured or discharged.
Briefing media in New Delhi, a Health Ministry official said, recovery rate has improved to above 25 per cent in 14 days which is a positive sign. Just over 25 thousand people are under medical supervision.
He said, State and District Administration should ensure through focused efforts that Red and Orange Zone districts, break the chain of transmission through effective and stringent containment measures.
