PM Shri Narendra Modi’s “Do Gaz Ki Doori (a distance of two yards) is the main mantra to fight against the Coronavirus pandemic said union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah addressing an ‘Odisha Jana Samvad’ virtual rally on 08 June, 2020.

  • The Home Minister expressed his gratitude to the people of Odisha for reposing their faith in the BJP and said Modi government is committed towards the development of the State.
  • He highlighted the achievements of the Modi government in its first year of the second term and steps taken by the Centre to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • The Modi government has extended Rs 5, 52,109 crore assistance to Odisha in 5 years, said Shri Shah adding ‘we have to make Odisha BJP’s impenetrable fortress’.
  • Shri Shah gave a detailed account of the Central assistance to the State in the first year of the second term and hailed historic schemes like Ayushman Bharat, Swachh Bharat, Ujjwala, Jan Dhan Yojana and PM-KISAN initiated for the welfare of the poor.
