PM & BJP President pay tributes to Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee on his Balidan Diwas

PM Shri Narendra Modi, BJP National President Shri JP Nadda and other senior leaders have paid tributes to Jana Sangha founder Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee on his Punyatithi on 23 June, 2020.

  • PM Shri Modi said, “Shat Shat Naman to the great son of Maa Bharati Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee on his Punyatithi.”
  • On the Balidan Diwas, Shri JP Nadda garlanded and paid floral tributes to the great patriot Dr. Mookerjee who dedicated his entire life for the unity and integrity of the country.
  • Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh said, “I bow to Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee on his Punyatithi”.
  • Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah in a twitter message said, “Dr. Mookerjee, the unequaled hero of India’s unity and integrity, not only fought for the country before independence, but also after independence, laid down his life for the solidarity of the country. His sacrifice and struggle to keep Bengal, Punjab and Kashmir an integral part of India is commendable.
