PM Modi congratulates T20 World cup winning Indian Cricket Team over phone call

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today spoke over phone and congratulated the Indian Men’s Cricket Team on their victory in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. Shri Modi lauded the exemplary skill & spirit displayed by the team members in the tournament.

Shri Modi in a post on X wrote:

“Spoke to the Indian Cricket team and congratulated them on their exemplary success at the T20 World Cup. They have shown excellent skill and spirit throughout the tournament. Each player’s commitment is very motivating.”

Shri Modi also penned separate posts on X for Rohit Sharma, Captain of the team; Virat Kohli, senior batsman and Rahul Dravid, Coach of the team for their excellent performances & unwavering commitment throughout the tournament.
