WE WILL SAVE THE LIFE OF THE POOREST OF THE POOR: AMIT SHAH

Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah held a meeting with the Chief Ministers of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana in New Delhi on 2 July to discuss the management of Covid-19 in NCR and a common strategy to combat the epidemic.

  • Shri Shah emphasized to reduce the rate of infection and rapid hospitalization of patients by using rapid antigen testing in NCR.
  • He said that the Government of India could provide rapid antigen test kits to Uttar Pradesh and Haryana as required.
  • Shri Shah said that more testing will prevent the spread of corona infection and according to the World Health Organization will help reduce the positivity rate by ten percent.
  • In order to reduce the death rate, the Union Home Minister stressed on getting patients admitted to the hospital at the earliest and said that from the point of view of humanity it is very important that we can save the life of the poorest of the poor.
