Addressing the Karyakartas on the launching of BJP’s Membership Drive- 2024, Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh said the Bharatiya Janata Party is not only the world’s largest political party but also the most credible and democratic party. Shri Singh praised Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for addressing the ‘crisis of credibility’ in politics by ensuring the party fulfils its promises.
He said no other party conducts its membership drive with such transparency and honesty as the BJP.
Shri Singh said PM Shri Narendra Modi has made sure that even if we dream big, our promises to people must always remain in alignment with what we are capable of delivering. We must be able to translate our promises into actions. This is why the BJP stands out as the most credible political party in the world. We don’t do politics for the sake of forming a government, but to form an empowered society.
Shri Rajnath Singh said nobody can deny the truth that due to the differences
between the words and deeds of politicians, people’s trust in India’s politics and politicians has decreased. The crisis of credibility that arose due to it was accepted as a challenge by PM Shri Narendra Modi.
PM Shri Modi has always urged that the manifesto should be carefully prepared; it should not be that we are unable to fulfil what we are saying. There should not be any difference between our words and deeds.
He said its an ideological movement and is a group effort based on shared ideas and beliefs. The BJP wants people to join because they share the same ideas.
Shri Singh said all across the country, people are excited. This is a one-of-a-kind membership drive. The BJP is already the largest party in the world. In the coming days, our party’s membership will increase further, and we will carry forward the developmental work under the dynamic leadership of PM Shri Narendra Modi across the country.
The membership drive will be conducted in two phases: from September 02 to September 25 and from October 1 to October 15, targeting specific milestones to ensure a comprehensive reach across the country.
