Shri Govindaraju Venkata Lakshminarasimha Rao was well known as GVL Narasimha Rao and joined RSS in Guntur at a very young age. He led the team from Andhra Pradesh that participated in Jammu and Kashmir satyagraha in Delhi. He was also an important figure in the Bangladesh liberation satyagraha. Shri GVL Rao ji was a significant activist who worked for the Jana Sangh’s expansion in the state since its beginnings. He was instrumental in the management of the party journal Janasandesh. Recognizing the necessity for political training classes for activists, he played a vital role in creating the system and conducting various training sessions throughout the state. He also wrote books on various topics such as the ‘Fall of the rupee’ (Devaluation of Rupee), the party’s foreign policy, against the co-operative movement, Jupudi in the State Council and the Jammu and Kashmir issue.
