              BJP President addresses election rally in Maharashtra

BJP President Shri Amit Shah addressing a huge rally in Beed, Maharashtra on 08 October, 2019 said, “By abrogating Article 370 Narendra Modi has given this country a reason to celebrate nationalism”.

“The Modi-led government, which came to power with a thumping majority, revoked Article 370 in just three months of winning the elections. Now, people should ask the opposition why they were unable to revoke Article 370,” Shri Shah reiterated.
Shri Shah said Jammu and Kashmir would not remain a UT forever and the statehood would be returned once situation is normalised, according to an official release.

The Home Minister said the notion that only the Article 370 protected the Kashmiri culture and identity was a wrong one, saying all regional identities are inherently protected by the Indian constitution.

Misuse of the Article 370 is the root cause of cross-border terrorism, he said.
Earlier, Shri Amit Shah was welcomed in area with waving of 370 flags and common people and karyakartas participated in a huge way in this event. It can bring everyone together. That’s why today we have given Shri Shah a salute of 370 canons and 370 Tri-Colour,” said the participants.
