Aspiring For Higher Goals

As the poll schedule for the five election-bound states has been announced by the Election Commission, political activities have further intensified in these states. In the coming month of November, people are going to vote in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and Mizoram to elect their governments. While Prime Minister Shri Narenra Modi, BJP National President Shri JP Nadda, and Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah have been addressing massive rallies in these states, the support for the BJP can be seen increasingly on the ground. The people are looking forward to extending their support to the BJP as they experience transformational change in their lives in the last nine years of the Modi government, which has catapulted the nation onto the global stage. The Prime Minister’s call for ‘Viksit Bharat’ based on the resolve of ‘panch pran’ is inspiring the nation, which is moving forward with the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas’. The dream of ‘Viksit Bharat’ can be realised when state governments too march ahead with the same vision, in the same direction, and with similar resolve, which is only possible under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the BJP governments in these states.

The historic performance of India in the Asian Games has once again made every Indian proud. As India won 107 medals, including 28 gold, 38 silver, and 41 bronze, it secured medals in three digits for the first time, scripting a tale of remarkable achievements. It once again proves that when the policy, intention, and endeavour are all right, success is bound to follow. It shows the newfound confidence that

powers the youth of today to aim higher and higher while achieving what appeared unimaginable a few years ago. It also points to the fact that if talents in India are given opportunities and facilities, they will always prove their mettle in any international competition. This was exactly done by ‘Khelo India’ programs, which, while offering competition, gave exposure at various levels and even financial support to the aspiring youth. Its various verticals like state-level Khelo India centres, annual sports competitions, talent search and development, sports for women, support to national, regional, and state sports academies, promotion of sports among persons with disabilities, promotion of rural and indigenous/tribal games, and physical fitness of school-going children are now taking Indian sports to a new level of competitiveness and professionalism. There is a massive change in the sporting culture, which now not only focuses on nurturing promising talents at the grass-roots level but also aims to end nepotism, bribery, and corruption in the game.

While the performing youth are not bereft of funds as required financial support, infrastructural facilities, and other requirements are in place, the talents in every department of sports are being promoted and encouraged. It is the result of the grand vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi that a huge transformation in the work culture is witnessed in every sector, with a strong urge for reform that has rejuvenated the entire system. The increasingly high performance of India’s youth in various national and international sporting events is a result of an improved work culture that identifies the best talents, nurtures, supports, and encourages them, and creates an atmosphere where their hard work pays off.

While the nation is celebrating the outstanding performances of the sportspersons in the recently held Asian Games in Houngzhou, China, the mood is still upbeat in the country due to the successful launch of Chandrayan-3, Aditya L-1, and the grand success of the G-20 Summit. While India is marching ahead under the dynamic and charismatic leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the people of India are aspiring for higher goals, powering the urge to become a developed country.
