BJP National President forms committee to look into Rajasthan rape & murder case

BJP National President Shri JP Nadda on 04 August, 2023 constituted a four-member committee of women MPs of the party to probe the heinous incident of rape and murder in a coal furnace of a minor girl in Bhilwara district of Rajasthan.
The party said in a statement that BJP National Vice President Sushri Saroj Pandey will be the convener of the committee and its other members are Smt. Rekha Verma, Smt. Kanta Kardam and Smt. Locket Chatterjee.

Shri Nadda has strongly condemned the brutal incident and expressed concern over rising cases of crimes, especially against women in Rajasthan, it said. The committee will visit the crime spot and submit a report to Shri JP Nadda.
