As people came out in large numbers to exercise their franchise in the first phase of the ongoing elections to the assemblies of five states, the Indian democracy got further strengthened and reinforced. The enthusiasm among people is not limited to voting but to participation in the entire process, resulting in huge rallies, door-to-door campaigns, debates and discussions on various forums, and from vocal support to active opposition of various candidates in the fray. In the entire electoral process, the BJP seems to be way ahead of other political parties, with its rallies, programmes, and campaigns drawing huge hits among the people. The programmes and policies of the BJP and its governments at the centre and states have today become synonyms of good governance, development, and corruption-free governments committed to ‘Antyodaya’ and having unflinching faith in tirelessly serving the nation. While the charismatic and visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is inspiring the entire nation to realise the goals of Viksit Bharat, the BJP is blessed with an array of dynamic and capable leadership from the centre to the states and millions of committed karykartas at the grass-roots level. As the largest political party in the world, the BJP has become the only hope of the country amid a plethora of political parties plunged in dynastic, unprincipled, opportunistic, and vote-bank politics. The result is that the people have been showering their blessings boundlessly on the BJP in every election.

rejected by the people. The liquor scam, rice scam, coal scam, Gothan scam, and Mahadeo App scam are some of the big scams making national headlines as crores of public money is swindled and looted. In the state PSC exams, nepotism has played a huge role, with only the children of Congress getting appointments to various posts. The manner in which the central leadership of the Congress has been treating Chhattisgarh as a golden sack is a matter of common knowledge. The Congress government in Chhattisgarh is not only neck-deep in corruption, but it has also halted the progress of the state by shelving many developmental initiatives taken by its predecessor BJP government. Not only this, the benefits of many welfare schemes of the Modi government are not reaching the intended beneficiaries. In such a situation, the BJP has the responsibility to rescue the state from the clutches of the Congress culture of corruption, nepotism, and vote-bank politics. The BJP ‘Sankalp Patra’ released by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah promises a bright future for the state while fulfilling the aspirations of every section of the society. The ‘Krishi Unnati Yojana’ addresses the problems of the farmers and aims at buying 21 quintals per acre of paddy at the rate of Rs. 3,100/-, benefiting the farmers in a big way. The ‘Sankalp Patra’ also promises to build 18 lakh new houses in the state under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and give tap water connections to every house. The schemes for labourers, landless agricultural labourers, women, and youth provide insight into the vision of the BJP for the entire state and its commitment to the all-round development of the people.
The BJP ‘Vision Document’ for Mizoram released by BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda not only promises a drug-free Mizoram but also talks about sports academia with the provision of scholarships for aspirant athletes and missions like the ‘Mizoram Education Upgrade’ and ‘Zirlai Simathaman Mission’. The vision and commitment of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for the northeastern states are known to everyone, and now the world acknowledges the way he has transformed the entire region. As the BJP has won the trust of the people with its visionary and development-oriented politics which is resulting in a huge transformation in the nation, the masses are increasingly supporting the BJP.
