BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda arrived in Agartala, participated in the concluding ceremony of ‘Jana Biswas Yatra’ and addressed a massive ‘Vijoy Sankalpa’ rally on 12 January, 2023. Shri JP Nadda was given a rousing welcome at the airport by Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Jishnu Dev Varma and other senior BJP leaders of the party. Thereafter, in a colourful rally he was escorted by a large number of party workers to the party office.
BJP National President chaired the BJP Core Committee meeting to finalize the strategy ahead of the upcoming assembly polls in the state. Before addressing the grand rally Shri Nadda attended a massive roadshow in the city followed by the public contact program at Lankamura along the Indo-Bangladesh border.
Noteworthy, the Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah commenced the ‘Jana Biswas Yatra’ in two mammoth rallies at Dharmanagar of North Tripura and Sabroom of South Tripura on 05 January, 2023. During the ‘Jan Bishwas Yatra’ in eight days both rallies covered about 1600 km across 60 constituencies. 200 public meetings, 100 Padyatras, and 50 roadshows were also organised and hosts of BJP leaders including Assam Chief Minister Shri Himanta Biswa Sarma have joined the Yatra in various state locations. The Yatra covered all the 60 state assembly constituencies in 8 districts where it got overwhelming support.
Addressing the massive ‘Vijoy Sankalpa’ rally BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda said under the leadership and guidance of PM Shri Narendra Modi the Bharatiya Janata Party is moving ahead to fulfill the mission of ‘Ek Tripura, Shrestha Tripura, Unnat Tripura and Sushashit Tripura’. The people of Tripura have already decided that ‘once BJP, always BJP’.
‘HIRA’ is the way
He said Manik is our Chief Minister in Tripura and ‘HIRA’ is the way towards Tripura’s connectivity and development. HIRA means H for Highway, I for Internet, R for Railways and A for Airways.
