WE ARE DETERMINED TO SEE ‘LOTUS’ IN ENTIRE KERALA: JP NADDA

BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda inaugurating the newly constructed BJP district committee office ‘Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Mandiram’ in Kasargod, Kerala on 12 July, 2020 said we are determined to see that in times to come, there will be ‘Lotus’ in entire Kerala.

Addressing the gathering via video conference Shri Nadda said, “We all know how LDF and Congress joined hands to fight the ideals of BJP in Kerala. In the last decade, BJP has grown in Kerala swiftly. Our vote percentage has grown from 6 to 16 and we are determined to see that in times to come, there will be Lotus in not just Kasargod but in entire Kerala”.

The BJP National President further said we’re not in power in Kerala, but the intention of Bharatiya Janata Party has been to see how best we can work and contribute together for the development of Kerala.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has left no stone unturned for achieving the same and I am not saying this only in words, it is a reality, he added.

He said misappropriation of funds; relief funds, political patronage, women and Dalit atrocities, nepotism in political appointments are prevalent in this Kerala govt. Not only that they destroyed the faith of the Sabrimala temple. It was the protest by the BJP workers that stopped.
He said like Kerala, the political scenario in West Bengal is also deplorable. The suspected heinous killing of Debendra Nath Ray, BJP MLA from Hemtabad in West Bengal in the recent past is extremely shocking and it shows the law & order condition in the state. This speaks of the rule of Gunda Raj and failure of law and order in the Mamta government. People will not forgive such governments in the future.

‘KERALA GOVT’S NEGATIVE ATTITUDE MESSED UP COVID-19 CRISIS’

The BJP National President also launched a scathing attack on the Kerala government over the COVID-19 pandemic, alleging that the state government’s attitude was always negative and it messed up the health crisis.
Speaking to the Karyakartas, Shri Nadda said, “The state government messed up the COVID-19 crisis. Pinarayi Vijayan’s government tried to suppress the real figures and always had a negative attitude even when the Indian Medical Association suggested increased testing.”

He said the Pinarayi government said that they have enough quarantine facilities, but it wasn’t the case. People suffered and migrant workers in Wayanad had to stage a protest against the state government due to that.
Shri Nadda said the state government has been giving political patronage to private companies in Kerala and compromising the medical data in the process.

The BJP President said the Kerala House was given to anti-CAA protesters but wasn’t given to Malayali nurses who needed it.

‘RAHUL GANDHI MEETS CHINESE AMBASSADOR OVER A “SECRET MEETING” DURING DOKLAM STAND-OFF’

Shri Nadda also severely criticized Congress leader and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi over his “secret meeting” with the Chinese Ambassador during the Doklam stand-off (in 2017).

He said, “The people of India know that Rahul Gandhi was meeting the Chinese Ambassador secretly during the Doklam stand-off and you misled the nation and did not even inform the country”.

“You’ve missed all 11 defence committee meetings. This is how you run a country? India got to know only when the Chinese Ambassador put your picture with him online. This ‘love for your nation’ is fake,” Shri Nadda said targeting Rahul Gandhi.

The BJP President said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had an emotional connect with the people of Kerala. “PM Modi has emotional bonding with Kerala. When the Puttingal temple (fire) incident happened (in April 2016), the Prime Minister reached the spot in less than 8 hours with a team of best doctors from All India Institute of Medical Sciences for the treatment of the injured persons.”

He added that it is not only the emotional connect; the PM has taken care of giving Kerala proper political representation. Before addressing the people in Abu Dhabi, Shri Modi met with the Kerala diaspora, talked to them, had lunch with them, and understood their problems in detail and then tried to solve them. He did the same when he went to Dubai,” said Shri Nadda.

Expressing satisfaction on the newly constructed BJP District Committee office ‘Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Mandiram’ in Kasargod, Kerala Shri Nadda said this office is digitally equipped and has all modern facilities.
