An extraordinary achievement for our country : JP Nadda

Shortly after the Chandrayaan-3 successfully landed on the south pole of moon’s surface, Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri JP Nadda said the achievement is an extraordinary one for the country.

In a video message on 23 August, 2023 Shri Nadda hailed the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and said that the country is creating a unique identity for itself in the space sector.

The BJP National President said, “I congratulate all scientists associated with this mission and the people of the county. Under PM Modi’s leadership, India is creating a unique identity for itself in the space sector. This is proving the mantra of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ true. With this successful landing mission, India has become the first nation to reach the south pole of the Moon. This is an extraordinary achievement for the country…,” Shri Nadda said. The BJP chief also took a swipe at the previous UPA government led by Congress and said, “Out of 89 launch missions by ISRO since its establishment in 1969, 47 space missions have been under Modi government in the last 9 years. This is double the number of missions launched in the UPA regime…”, he said.

India has added a golden chapter : Rajnath Singh



Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh posted on X,”With the soft landing of Vikram Lander on Moon’s South Pole, India has added a golden chapter in the history of space exploration. It is a landmark achievement and momentous occasion for 1.4 billion people as India becomes the first country in the world to land on Moon’s South pole. This success is a testimony to India’s prowess in space technology”.

Heartiest congratulations to the 140 crore people: Amit Shah



Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah hailed the historic landing of Chandrayaan 3’s Vikram lander on the south pole of the lunar surface. In his message he said, “I extend my heartiest congratulations to the 140 crore people on this big achievement in the space sector in this Amrit Kaal. I also congratulate Team Chandrayaan as their hard work has made India proud…PM Modi brought in a new space policy, under which 55 spacecraft missions were launched in the last decade…”
