Former Punjab BJP President Kamal Sharma no more

Former Punjab BJP President Kamal Sharma passed away on October 27 after suffering a heart attack in Ferozepur district. 48 years old Shri Sharma went for a morning walk where he suffered a heart attack. He was taken to a local hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Sharma is survived by his wife and two children.

On the demise of the leader Prime Minister expressed his deep sorrow . He said in a tweet “Anguished by the passing away of Shri Kamal Sharma Ji. He made noteworthy efforts to strengthen our Party in Punjab. My thoughts are with his family and supporters in this hour of grief. Om Shanti!”

The BJP National President and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah expressing grief over demise of the leader said in a tweet “ I am deeply in grief by sudden demise of former Punjab BJP President Shri Kamal Sharma. Kamal ji as a dedicated party worker played pivotal role to strengthen the party organization. I express my condolences to his family. May God grant peace to the departed soul peace! Om Shanti.”

BJP National Working President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda said on the demise “ I am saddened by sudden demise of my friend Shri Kamal Sharma . His death is irreparable loss to the organization. May God grant peace to the departed soul peace! I pray that God gives strength to bereaved family to bear the grief and pain. Om Shanti!!
