Muvvala Srihari Rao from Prakasam district, Andhra Pradesh joined RSS at the age of 21. He joined the Jana Sangh in 1953 and contributed a lot for the development of the party in his district. He held numerous positions at the district and state level while he was in the Jana Sangh and BJP. Srihari Rao ji also participated in the satyagraha held in Delhi in 1971 for the liberation of Bangladesh. He was an active party member who took part in all other movements organised by the party.
