Salient points of speech of Hon’ble BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda while addressing party karyakartas in the presence of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji to celebrate historical victory in the assembly elections

  • The assembly election results in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur are overwhelming in favour of the Bharatiya Janata Party. I thank and congratulate our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji on behalf of crores of BJP workers for this historic victory.
  • The manner in which people of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur have voted overwhelmingly for the Bharatiya Janata Party shows that the people have put their rubber stamp on the pro poor and pro people policies and programmes of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji.
  • It is for the fourth consecutive time that the people of Uttar Pradesh have showered their trust and blessings on the Bharatiya Janata Party – in 2014 Lok Sabha elections, 2017 assembly elections, 2019 Lok Sabha elections and now 2022 assembly elections.
  • In Uttar Pradesh it is for the first time in 37 years that an incumbent government has once again been voted to power. In Uttar Pradesh our vote share has also increased from 39% to 42%.
  • In Uttarakhand it has been a trend to change governments. But this time we fought elections in the state under the leadership and guidance of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and once again came to power with two-third majority with the blessings of the people of Devbhoomi.
  • In Manipur for the first time the Bharatiya Janata Party is going to form its government with full majority . In Goa we have scored a hat-trick of victory . It is very clear that the electorate have wholeheartedly supported the policies and programmes of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and his pledge to make ‘New India’.
  • During the assembly elections it was said again and again that parties have ganged up against the Bharatiya Janata Party and that the vote bank of the opposition parties will combine to make election difficult for the Bharatiya Janata Party. I have repeatedly said that leaders joining hands does not ensure victory and it does not secure votes and it is because elections are not mathematics but about chemistry.
  • The people of India – villagers, poor, farmers, Dalits, backward and oppressed classes, youth, women – are deeply attached to our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji; they share special chemistry with Modi ji.
  • Our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has entirely changed the political culture of our country. The Hon’ble Prime Minister has changed the politics of nepotism, corruption, communalism, casteism, appeasement, regionalism and dynasty politics. The Hon’ble Prime Minister has established the politics of development, accountability and report card in the country.
  • Our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has empowered all sections of the society – villagers, poor, Dalits, farmers, oppressed and backward classes, youth and women – through his pro poor and welfare oriented policies and programmes.
  • Five years ago it was goonda raj, mafia raj, corruption and terrorism which was ruling the roost. But under the double engine government of the Bharatiya Janata Party under Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath ji which made Uttar Pradesh a state free of fear and where rule of law was established.
  • Mafia and criminal elements who used to terrorise people are today behind the bars. Those who used to terrorise people are now themselves scared and have fled the state.
  • Our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has implemented ‘Act East Policy’ in Manipur. In the past 7 years the Hon’ble Prime Minister has visited the Northeast around 50 times. And its result is now being reflected in the massive mandate for the Bharatiya Janata Party in Manipur.
  • Our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji had said long back that the next decade belongs to Uttarakhand. The people of Devbhoomi have given massive support to this initiative of our Hon’ble Prime Minister.
  • In 2024 we again have to register a historic victory. We all have to move ahead unitedly and under the leadership and guidance of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji make India a ‘Vishwa Guru’.
