SALIENT POINTS OF THE SPEECH OF THE BJP NATIONAL PRESIDENT SHRI JAGAT PRAKASH NADDA JI GIVEN TODAY WHILE ADDRESSING THE INAUGURAL SESSION OF THE RAJYA PARISHAD MEETING OF THE BJP IN MEDCHAL, TELANGANA
The Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda ji today inaugurated the BJP’s Rajya Parishad meeting at MEDCHAL in Telangana. Those who attended the meeting included BJP state President Shri G Kishan Reddy, former state unit President Shri Bandi Sanjay Kumar , BJP National General Secretary (Organisation) Shri B L Santosh, BJP National Vice President Shri D K Aruna, BJP OBC National President Dr K Laxman , Telangana state incharge Shri Tarun Chugh, state election incharge Shri Prakash Javdekar, National General Secretary Shri Sunil Bansal, Shri Murlidhar Rao, Shri Prabhakar Reddy and other senior leaders and MPs of the party.
Speaking at the event Shri Nadda said our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji is highly committed for the growth and development of Telangana. During his recent visits to the state Shri Modi ji first sanctioned Rs 8000 crores and then Rs 14000 crores for various developmental projects in the state.
The Congress party has repeatedly ignored the regional sentiments and aspirations of the people. That is the region that regional parties came into existence based on regional aspirations; but as time progressed these parties became family owned parties and dynastic parties. In Telangana too we are seeing KCR and then there will be KTR, daughter Kavita, which means son and daughter and then son in law.
They can write TRS or BRS — but the fact is that it is Bhrastachar Rishwat Samiti. All the major partners of the INDI Alliance are the dynastic parties and family owned parties. These parties are mired in corruption, nepotism and appeasement. The Congress party has become the party of mother and son.
In Telangana KCR is doing the politics of appeasement, dynasty politics and corruption. Those in power in Telangana have joined hands with Razakars who committed unparalleled atrocities against the people of the state?
I want to ask the youth of Telangana that do they want a government which leaked the question paper of tenth standard? Do they want a government which leaked the question paper of class 12th? Do they want a government which leaked the papers of public service commission which affectee over 30 lakh youth?
Our fight is for the development and progress of Telangana. This fight no other party can fight. We have decided that the Bharatiya Janata Party will not join hands with corrupt people and parties. We with the support of the people of Telangana will fight this battle.
Our nation does not pray one family or our democracy is slave of one family or party. Our nation and our democracy is vibrant and where opinions matter.
Indira Gandhi gave the slogan of “Gareebi Hatao” but they could not eradicate poverty. Instead the Congress party removed poor people. On the other hand the Narendra Modi Government of the Bharatiya Janata Party has brought over 13.5 crore people from poverty line . Telangana was first ruined by the Congress party and then it was further ruined by KCR.
Under the PM Awas Yojna the Narendra Modi Government constructed over 4 crore homes. And in Telangana around 2.5 lakh homes were constructed under the scheme. KCR had promised to build double bed room house for poor. It would have been good had he given single bed houses, but he didn’t gave anything to poor people. It once again proves KCR makes tall promises but does not fulfill them.
The Bharatiya Janata Party is the only party which has not deviated an inch from its ideology and principles. All the other parties have compromised with their ideology and principles, but not the Bharatiya Janata Party.
