In May 2020, Respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had given the mantra of ‘Vocal for Local’ to the countrymen to make the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ campaign successful. The Honorable Prime Minister always gives preference to local products in his life. Shri Nadda said that we should promote Vocal for Local in the society. The Hon’ble Prime Minister also requested everyone that the goods we buy from Diwali to Chhath should be local products. It’s inspiring to have Shri Ravikant Shastri from Bilaspur with us, and he has truly made a mark with commendable work in his region. His innovative craftsmanship with waste wood has resulted in unique products and has become a means of empowerment. Actively engaging the villagers, providing training, steering them towards self-reliance and creating valuable employment opportunities within the community. They make these valuable products in the villages. After that, they sell these products in Shimla, Manali and other markets. That is why I called Ravikant ji here, talked to him and also bought his products. Shri Shastri presented a replica of the Baba Kedarnath temple made of wood to the BJP president.
