Hon’ble Union Home Minister & Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah addressed a public rally in Khairagarh, Chhattisgarh on Sunday. During the event, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the state’s Deputy CM Shri Vijay Sharma, BJP Lok Sabha candidate from Rajnandgaon, Shri Santosh Pandey among other leaders were present. In his address, Shri Amit Shah highlighted the Bharatiya Janata Party’s commitment to safeguard reservations and eradicate naxalism from Chhattisgarh. Shri Shah lauded Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s efforts towards farmer welfare and development in the state, contrasting it with Congress’ past governance. Shri Amit Shah appealed to the public to support Shri Narendra Modi for his third term as Prime Minister and to contribute towards achieving ‘Abki Baar 400 Paar’.

Shri Shah commenced his address by seeking the blessings of Danteshwari Maa, Maa Mayamaya and  Chandrahasini Mata. On the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti, Shri Amit Shah offered homage and tribute to Dr. Ambedkar. Shri Shah underscored Dr. Ambedkar’s enduring contributions, particularly his unwavering dedication to uplifting the economically disadvantaged, Dalits and tribal communities. Shri Shah observed that on this significant day, the spirit of the constitution is upheld by all, yet the Congress party persists in spreading falsehoods. He revealed that AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge had alleged that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi would amend the Constitution, while other Congress associates suggest Shri Narendra Modi would abolish reservations. Shri Shah asserted the BJP’s commitment to safeguarding reservations for tribals, Dalits and marginalized communities as long as the party remains in politics, pledging to resist any attempts by the Congress to abolish or alter them. Shri Shah accused the Congress of engaging solely in the propagation of falsehoods.

Shri Shah stated that the people of Chhattisgarh have recently handed Congress a decisive defeat. If anyone has delivered the biggest victory to the BJP in the history of Chhattisgarh, it is by granting a majority to Chattisgarh CM Shri Vishnu Deo Sai. Shri Amit Shah remarked that despite Congress Lok Sabha candidate Bhupesh Beghel’s involvement in significant corruption, he still aspires to become a Member of Parliament. Shri Shah highlighted that the people of Chhattisgarh dealt a significant defeat to Bhupesh Baghel in the state assembly elections by a considerable margin. He appealed to the public to ensure an even greater margin of victory for BJP Lok Sabha candidate Shri Santosh Pandey in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Shri Shah highlighted that the votes cast for the ‘lotus’ symbol would directly contribute to Shri Narendra Modi’s account in Delhi, securing his re-election as Prime Minister. He also stressed that Shri Narendra Modi has served as Prime Minister twice, and over the past decade, he has made significant strides in advancing Chhattisgarh.

Shri Shah reiterated the commitment that, following his third term as Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi and the BJP would strive to eradicate Naxalism from Chhattisgarh. Shri Shah highlighted that during the Congress government led by Bhupesh Baghel, the Naxalism movement had significantly weakened. Shri Amit Shah praised Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister and stated that they have managed to eliminate more than 56 Naxalites in a short period, arrested over 150 individuals, and facilitated the surrender of more than 250 others. Shri Shah stated that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has eradicated naxalism from across the country in the past ten years, leaving only Chhattisgarh to address. Shri Shah committed to the audience that if Shri Narendra Modi were to become Prime Minister for the third term, he would eradicate Naxalism within three years.

Shri Shah emphasized PM Shri Narendra Modi’s extensive efforts for the welfare of farmers. Shri Shah highlighted that while the Congress party, led by Rahul Gandhi, vocally advocates for farmers, they should recall that during their tenure in 2013-14, the budget allocated for farmers’ welfare was a mere ₹22,000 crores. Under Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership, this budget has surged to ₹1 lakh 25 thousand crores. Every year, the Modi government is disbursing ₹6,000 to each farmer. Grain procurement, which peaked at ₹475 lakh metric tons during Congress’ reign, has now risen to ₹830 lakh metric tons under the BJP’s administration. Shri Shah lauded Shri Vishnu Deo Sai’s government for having implemented a bonus scheme on top of Shri Narendra Modi’s established paddy rate of ₹2,183 rupees, providing a bonus of 13,000 crores for 2 years.

Shri Shah mentioned that the BJP had promised to provide financial assistance to every woman through the Mahatari Vandan Yojana, depositing money into their bank accounts every month. Within two months of forming the government in Chhattisgarh, Shri Vishnu Deo ensured the disbursement of two installments under this scheme. The BJP government has established a medical college in Rajnandgaon. However, the sugar mill opened by the BJP was shut down by Bhupesh Baghel and  now, the state government is working to reopen it. He said that Congress ruled the country without establishing a Ministry of Tribal Affairs, but Atal Bihari Vajpayee established one for Tribal Welfare, and Shri Narendra Modi has worked towards protecting land, forests and water, as well as ensuring security, dignity and inclusive development. Despite Congress’ 55-year rule, they never appointed a tribal individual as the President. Whereas, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi honored tribal communities by appointing Smt Droupadi Murmu, belonging to a poor tribal family in Odisha, as President of INDIA, thus respecting and acknowledging the tribal population.

Union Home Minister highlighted that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has commemorated Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s birth anniversary as “janjatiye Gaurav Diwas.”  Shri Amit Shah conveyed that the Congress had left the budget for Scheduled Tribes at ₹24,000 crores, but Shri Narendra Modi has increased it to ₹1 lakh 25 thousand crores. He also highlighted that the BJP has established new Eklavya schools. Shri Shah emphasized that when the Congress was in power at the center, they allocated ₹77 thousand crores to Chhattisgarh, whereas the Modi government has increased this to ₹3 lakh 20 thousand crores. Infrastructure projects worth ₹72,000 crores have been undertaken, including the construction of ₹25,000 crore worth of roads and investment of ₹45,000 crores in airport development and ₹250 crore in railways by the Narendra Modi government.

Shri Shah emphasized that in Chhattisgarh, the benefits of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi have reached 29 lakh beneficiaries, ‘Nal Se Jal’ has been supplied to 40 lakh poor households in the state, and the Modi government is covering the entire medical expenses up to ₹5 lakh for 2 crore citizens. 30 lakh households have been provided with toilets, and the Modi government is providing 5 kg of grains per month to 2 crore beneficiaries. Shri Shah informed that upon forming the government for the third time, the provision of 5 kg of grains will continue for the next 5 years. Additionally, Shri Amit Shah noted that 38 lakh LPG connections have been provided and 12 lakh houses under PM Awas Yojana have been provided in the state. As soon as the CM Shri Vishnu Deo Sai took office, he announced plans to build homes for 18 lakh more households for the poor.

Shri Shah urged the public to not believe the words of Bhupesh Baghel, considering his habitual dishonesty. Shri Shah emphasized that Bhupesh Baghel had once talked about banning alcohol, but he instead endorsed it. He engaged in corruption through the Mahadev app, promised to open a jute industry but never did. Shri Shah noted that Bhupesh Baghel pledged to give women ₹5,000 per month but failed to fulfill it. Bhupesh Baghel wanted to shift the Khairagarh Music University to Raipur, but the BJP decided to keep it in Khairagarh and now plans to modernize it further. Several scams have occurred in this country, but none were committed in the name of God. The Congress has been involved in various scams including 2G, Commonwealth, Bofors, Submarine, and even Bhupesh Baghel didn’t spare Mahadev, orchestrating a ₹508 crore scam through the Mahadev App. Shri Shah pointed out that Bhupesh Baghel, not exhausted from his involvement in scams of coal, alcohol, sand, PSC, cow dung, DMF, settlement and vermicompost scams, has returned to the public for votes once again.

Shri Shah stated that the Modi government has accomplished numerous tasks within its 10-year tenure. Shri Shah emphasized that the Congress Party claims that the people of Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan have nothing to do with Kashmir, but Mallikarjun Kharge seems unaware that youth from here can sacrifice their lives for Kashmir. The Congress party was merely maintaining Article 370, but on August 05, 2019, Prime Minister Shri Modi abolished Article 370, making Kashmir an integral part of India forever. Shri Shah stated that for 70 years, the Congress Party had stalled the subject of the Ram Mandir, but upon being elected as Prime Minister for the second time by the people, Shri Narendra Modi, on January 22nd, performed the Pran Pratishtha ceremony and welcomed Ram Lalla in the majestic Mandir. After 500 years, Ram Lalla will celebrate his birthday in his mandir.

Shri Shah expressed that today Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has released the manifesto, stating that the Uniform Civil Code will be implemented across the entire country. Simultaneous elections for both state assemblies and the Lok Sabha will be conducted, as part of the ‘One Nation, One Election’ initiative. Shri Shah conveyed that all elderly citizens, regardless of their income, will receive free medical treatment up to ₹5 lakh. The government will construct 3 crore houses, equipping the homes of the poor with solar panels. In addition to providing gas cylinders to women, the government will also introduce piped natural gas, making gas more affordable.

Shri Shah stated that under the Lakhpati Didi Yojna, approximately one crore women have benefited, and after becoming the third-time Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi will make up to three crore women, mainly tribal and backward. He underscored that Shri Narendra Modi has made the country prosperous, secure, and protected it from terrorism. Under the Sonia-Manmohan government, infiltrators (‘Aaliya, Maaliya, Jamaliya’) came to India and executed terror activity, and the then government did not utter a statement regarding that. But after Shri Narendra Modi became Prime Minister the vision and perspective regarding Kashmir changed. Within 10 days of the Pulwama and Uri attacks, the Indian Army did Surgical and Airstrike simultaneously in Pakistan and gave a befitting reply.

Union Home Minister stated that only the Bharatiya Janata Party and Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi can develop and uplift the youth, the poor, the farmers and the women of the nation. Shri Amit Shah appealed to the people of Chhattisgarh to vote for the BJP by pressing the ‘lotus’  symbol so hard that the current reaches Italy. Shri Shah underscored the goal of achieving 400 Paar‘  and ensuring Shri Narendra Modi’s third term as the Prime Minister, to bolster India’s strength and influence.
