Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda addressed the public meeting in Jhalawar, Rajasthan on Wednesday. During the event, alongside him on the stage were Smt Vasundhara Raje, BJP National Vice President, Shri Dushyant Singh, BJP candidate from the Jhalawar Lok Sabha constituency, and other officials. Shri Nadda stated that while PM Shri Narendra Modi aims for ‘Viksit Bharat’ and tirelessly works on the policy of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas, Sabka Viswas aur Sabka Prayas’, the opposition’s sole agenda is to safeguard their family and engage in corruption.

Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda emphasized the importance of using vote for the country’s development. He highlighted the aspiration of Indians, that is, for a corruption-free government, a developmental government under PM Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership, and a vision for unprecedented progress. Shri Nadda illustrated the evident progress in today’s developed Jhalawar, and Madhya Pradesh citing the development of national highways from Bhopal to Jaipur and Bombay to Bhopal via Jhalawar as examples of the changing landscape of India.

Shri Prakash Nadda highlighted the transformation in rural India under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi noted that in the previous Congress government, there were approximately 18,000 villages without electricity. However, after assuming office in 2014, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi electrified those 18000 villages within 1000 days and strengthened rural areas. Since 2014, more than three million villages have been connected with paved roads under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. Additionally, under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, around 12 crore toilets were constructed in over 500,000 villages, providing around 12 crore women with the opportunity to live with dignity, this initiative was undertaken by  PM Shri Narendra Modi.

BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda stated that under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, 80 crore people are set to receive 5 kilograms of wheat, rice, and 1 kilogram of pulses, resulting in 25 crore people emerging from below the poverty line. Additionally, 4 crore pucca homes have been provided under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, with Rajasthan accounting for 20 lakh of them. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s commitment is that in his next term, no one will live in a kuccha house, everyone will have a pucca house, which is ‘Modi ki guarantee’.

Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda stated that under the Ayushman Yojana, 55 crore poor people in the country are provided with a health insurance of ₹5 lakh per year. The BJP government has tripled the budget for Dalit upliftment, benefiting nearly two lakh Dalits under the Stand Up scheme. The Modi-led government has taken significant steps towards women empowerment by constructing toilets under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Through schemes like the Ujjwala Yojana, Ujala Yojana, Saubhagya Sukanya Yojana, and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, the government has taken numerous initiatives for empowering women. In the Ujjwala Yojana, free gas cylinders were provided to 10 crore people. Shri Nadda highlighted that to increase women’s representation in the country’s legislature, the Women Empowerment Bill was passed in the Parliament within three days.

Shri Nadda stated that while the Congress made false promises of loan waivers, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is empowering farmers by providing ₹6,000 per year to 11 crore 78 lakh farmers. Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, the government has transferred over ₹2 lakh crore into the accounts of farmers. A sum of ₹18 lakh crore is provided to farmers through the minimum support price. Shri Nadda emphasized that according to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, when GYAN (Gareeb, Yuva, Annadata aur Nari Shakti) progresses, the country will progress. Under the BJP government, Rajasthan is witnessing extensive development with the laying of concrete roads from village to village, construction of national highways, overbridges, and dams on rivers. Every household is receiving water through taps, and the Jhalawar railway station is being renovated under the Amrit Bharat Yojana, while a new railway station is being built in Baran. 

BJP National President stated that development is taking place in every aspect in Rajasthan under the BJP government. The railway budget for Rajasthan has increased sevenfold. Under the Modi government, 23 medical colleges are being established in Rajasthan, out of which 11 are already operational, including the Jhalawar Medical College.  Shri Nadda pointed out that under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India has become the fifth-largest economy in the world and will soon be the third largest economy.

Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda highlighted that in terms of exporting steel, India has risen from the fourth position to the second. India has surpassed Japan to become the third-largest automobile market. Shri Nadda pointed out that 10 years ago, under the Congress government, 92% of mobile phones came from abroad, mostly from China. Today, 97% of mobile phones are being made in India. India’s defense exports have risen 138%. Shri Nadda pointed out that India is developing under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and everyone should participate in the commitment towards building ‘Viksit Bharat’. Shri Nadda appealed to the public to come together and vote for the betterment and development of the nation.

Shri Nadda criticized the opposition alliance, stating that the INDIA  bloc  is a coalition of corrupt parties with the sole aim of saving themselves from corruption charges and protecting their families. He cited numerous instances of corruption involving various parties within the alliance, such as the Congress party’s involvement in scams spanning from land deals to coal, sports, Agustawestland, sugar, rice, and pulses. Investigations are underway against Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav regarding allegations of irregularities in laptop distribution, the Gomti riverfront project, and grain scams. Shri Nadda added that Lalu Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav have been accused of corruption related to job appointments instead of land dealings. West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee’s administration faced allegations of corruption in teacher recruitments and cow smuggling. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been implicated in a liquor scam. Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi are out on bail. He highlighted that leaders like Farooq Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti, Prakash Singh Badal, Dushyant Chautala, Sharad Pawar, Uddhav Thackeray, and Akhilesh Yadav, among others, leading the United Opposition, are all dynastic parties solely focused on protecting their families rather than serving the nation. In contrast, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party is committed to leading the country towards development.
