He underscored the importance of politics focused on societal and national development rather than personal gain. Shri Singh lauded Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s tireless dedication to the country, citing his rigorous schedule of working up to 18 hours a day, attending multiple public meetings, and conducting late-night sessions. He noted the transformation in India’s global image, shifting from a perception of poverty to one of progress and development.

Shri Singh highlighted India’s rapid development under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership. He noted that when Shri Modi took office in 2014, India ranked 10th globally in terms of economy, but now it stands at 5th place, with economists worldwide acknowledging this progress. Shri Rajnath Singh predicted that within two and a half years, India would join the ranks of the world’s top three economies, alongside the United States and China.

Defence Minister Shri Singh also praised the contributions of legendary figure Bhagwan Birsa Munda in unifying society and resisting British rule, emphasizing that it was the BJP that honored Munda’s legacy. Shri Singh described Jharkhand’s land as remarkable, acknowledging Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s efforts in bringing it to the forefront. Shri Singh emphasized the significance of honoring individuals like Tilka Majhi, Chand-Bhairav, Nilambar-Pitambar, Tana Bhagat and Siddhu Kanho, who represent the pride and struggle of society, highlighting the BJP’s commitment to uplifting every stratum of society.

Union Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh highlighted that the first Tribal Affairs Ministry in independent India was established by Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Shri Rajnath Singh mentioned that the budget for the Tribal Affairs Ministry has been increased sixfold. Shri Singh emphasized that for the tribal population, who were previously overlooked, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Jan Dhan Yojana has been a game-changer, reaching 36,000 villages that had never received attention before. Shri Singh credited Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for lifting 25 crore people out of poverty, a feat acknowledged by institutions like NITI Aayog and others. Shri Singh pointed out the prolonged conflict between Russia and Ukraine spanning two years, marked by the exchange of missiles, artillery, and bombs, resulting in casualties on both sides. With 22,000 Indian students studying in the region, their parents sought Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s intervention for their evacuation due to safety concerns. Acting swiftly, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi engaged with Russian President and Ukrainian President, securing a temporary ceasefire of four hours, enabling the safe return of the Indian students home.

Attacking Congress’s announcement of conducting property survey, Mr. Singh said that the significance of dignity and honor in life, stating that while wealth and prosperity are important, self-respect and dignity are the most crucial aspects of human existence. Shri Singh underscored that one can endure hunger but cannot compromise on their self-respect, reflecting the character of Jharkhand. Shri Singh criticized the Congress, questioning their proposal to conduct surveys on wealth. Shri Singh remarked that when agencies like the Enforcement Directorate and the Central Bureau of Investigation inquire about wealth, individuals often struggle to provide accurate information. Shri Singh accused the Congress of attempting to divide the nation along religious lines, alleging that they prioritize Muslims over other minorities. Shri Singh asserted that while the BJP does not discriminate between Hindus and Muslims, the Congress has fragmented the nation on religious grounds, neglecting the welfare of the entire populace.

Shri Singh emphasized that the Congress government established several commissions, with their reports suggesting that out of the 27% reservation for OBCs, 6% should be allocated for Muslims and 2% for minorities. Additionally, these reports noted that if a person from the Scheduled Caste converts to another religion, they would not be exempted from reservation benefits. Furthermore, the Congress terminated reservations for SC/ST in Jamia Millia Islamia and Aligarh Muslim University. Shri Singh emphasized that the nation is curious about the Congress’s intentions regarding resource surveys and distribution. He pointed out that government schemes such as housing, sanitation, and electrification were provided to beneficiaries without any discrimination based on religion. Similarly, initiatives like 5 Kg of free ration distribution were aimed at addressing the needs of those who require assistance, without any religious bias. The INDI Alliance realized it was losing ground in the elections, prompting them to resort to misleading the public and stoking religious divides. In contrast, the Bharatiya Janata Party aims to garner public support through love and trust, rather than resorting to fear mongering tactics

Union Defence Minister mentioned that the BJP Surat candidate won unopposed, marking the victorious journey of the BJP. However, the Congress and other opposition parties stated that it is a threat to democracy. Shri Singh highlighted the irony that during Congress rule, if their candidates won unopposed, democracy was considered strong, but when a BJP candidate won, it was considered a threat to democracy. In the 2012 Kannauj Byelection, Dimple Yadav won unopposed, and then no one questioned the victory. Shri Singh highlighted that Jharkhand is known for setting records, and voters must ensure a significant victory margin of more than 3-5 lakh votes for Shri Arjun Munda.
