Hon’ble Union Home Minister & Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah addressed public meetings in Maharajganj, Deoria, Balia and Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday. Shri Shah praised the BJP’s efforts for rapid development in the state. During the event, Maharajganj Lok Sabha candidate Shri Pankaj Chaudhary, Deoria Lok Sabha candidate Shri Shashank Mani Tripathi, Ballia Lok Sabha candidate Shri Neeraj Shekhar, Robertsganj Lok Sabha Candidate Smt Rinki Kol, Deoria MLA Shri Shalabh Mani Tripathi, Deoria Incumbent MP Dr. Ramapati Ram Tripathi and Siswa MLA Shri Prem Sagar Patel, among other leaders were present. Shri Amit Shah began his address by seeking blessings from Sonadi Devi Mandir, Lehda Devi Mandir, Guru Gorakhnath Mandir, and Kathara Shivling. He also paid tribute to freedom fighter and member of constituent assembly Shibban Lal Saxena.

Shri Shah predicted that after the conclusion of the five phases of the election, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji would secure more than 310 seats and form the government for a third consecutive time. He expressed confidence that the sixth and seventh phases would ensure 400 seats for Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji by June 4th. Rahul Gandhi will not cross even 40 seats and ‘Shehzade’ Akhilesh Yadav will not cross 4 seats. On June 4th, both ‘Shehzade’ will hold a press conference and will blame EVM for their loss. He accused the Ghamandia alliance of being involved in corruption worth ₹12 lakh crore but emphasized that no corruption charges had been alleged against Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji. While Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav went abroad for summer vacation, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji did not take a single day off during his 23 years as CM and PM. He even celebrated Diwali with soldiers on the border.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister stated that on one hand, the Congress party, which promised to eradicate poverty with the slogan ‘Gareebi Hatao’, failed to do so. Meanwhile, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s government has provided ration to 80 crore people, built 12 crore toilets, provided water connections to 14 crore households, distributed LPG cylinders to 10 crore people, extended ₹5 lakh free health coverage to 60 crore people, and provided ₹6,000 per year to 11 crore farmers. Congress and the Samajwadi Party delayed the Ram Mandir issue for 70 years. But, within 5 years of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi’s second term, the decision was made, Bhoomi Pujan was performed, and the grand Ram Mandir is built today. During the Samajwadi Party’s tenure, bullets were fired at Karsevaks. This Lok Sabha election represents a clear choice between those who contributed to the construction of the Ram Mandir and those who perpetrated violence against the Kar Sevaks.

Shri Shah stated that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir is a part of India. Rahul Gandhi tried to scare everyone by saying you shouldn’t demand PoK because Pakistan has an atomic bomb. However, Rahul Gandhi does not understand that BJP members are not afraid of Pakistan’s atomic bomb. PoK was, is, and will remain a part of India, and India will reclaim it. Samajwadi Party and Congress Party are masters of lying. They are raising the issue of the Sahara refund scam, but this scam occurred during the Samajwadi Party’s rule. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji initiated the refund process and is working to return ₹85,000 crore to 3.5 lakh people defrauded by Sahara.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister stated that Hon’ble Shri Narendra Modi Ji combated with terrorism effectively. During the government of Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh, Pakistan-backed terrorists often attacked India without significant response. However, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji swiftly responded to attacks like Uri and Pulwama with surgical and air strikes within 10 days, making significant strides in eradicating terrorism.

Shri Shah emphasized that the Congress alleges Hon’ble Shri Narendra Modi Ji will terminate the reservation. However, the Prime Minister has served for 10 years without altering reservation policies. It is the Congress that has manipulated reservation systems. In Karnataka, Hyderabad, and Bengal, Congress deprived Dalits and backward classes of their reservation rights, reallocating them to serve its preferred vote bank. As long as there is even one MP from the BJP in the Parliament, no one will be able to touch the reservation of backward classes, Dalits and tribals, this is the Modi ki Guarantee.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister mentioned that it was Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji who honoured Chaudhary Charan Singh Ji with the Bharat Ratna and worked for the welfare of farmers across Uttar Pradesh. Maharajganj is a sugarcane region with four sugar mills, three of which were shut down and sold to private sectors by the BSP. Farmers are now disheartened and disappointed however, when the public elects Shri Pankaj Chaudhary as MP, a new large sugar mill on a cooperative basis equivalent to three mills will be established within one and a half years.

Shri Shah further stated that these parties closed 30 sugar mills, while the BJP government has restarted 20 mills and built 5 new ones. They have increased the sugarcane cultivation area by 9 lakh hectares and repaid ₹23,000 crore from 1995 to 2017 under the previous government. Since 2017, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has repaid ₹2.5 lakh crore. Ethanol production rates have increased from 42 crore to 156 crore, and Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji ensures that every kilogram of sugarcane is converted to sugar. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath, sugarcane production has increased from 72 lakh metric tonnes to 84 lakh metric tonnes.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister highlighted that Shri Pankaj Chaudhary is one of the most experienced parliamentarians in the country. A highly capable individual committed to the development of Maharajganj. Shri Pankaj Chaudhary has constructed the Padrauna-Pilibhit highway, the Partawal-Gorakhpur four-lane road, the Maharajganj bypass, and the Thuthibari bypass. He has modernized the Chowk Parsoni to Nichlaul Puraina road, established a 220 KB substation in Maharajganj, provided gas connections to 2.52 lakh mothers, homes to 64,000 poor families, “Nal Se Jal” to 4.32 lakh homes, and built 4.55 lakh toilets. Additionally, 41,000 farmers have received the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi.

Shri Shah praised the developmental efforts of Deoria incumbent MP Dr. Ramapati Ram Tripathi in the constituency. He highlighted various initiatives undertaken, including the establishment of an oxygen plant during the Corona pandemic, the establishment of a medical college named after Devraha Baba and the construction of an 11 km long bridge over the Gandak river. Additionally, work on a new Deoria Sadar station is in progress. Other accomplishments include providing 22 thousand houses to the poor, constructing 570 km of rural roads, and distributing 2 lakh gas connections under the Ujjwala scheme. Moreover, tap water was supplied to 4 lakh 40 thousand households, while 5 lakh 14 thousand toilets were constructed. Furthermore, 4 lakh 51 thousand farmers received benefits under the Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, and 7 lakh poor people were provided with 5 kg of grain free of cost.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister highlighted the lack of sensitivity in the Congress party, noting that its leaders prioritize personal pleasure and hobbies, whereas Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji dedicates himself to serving all 140 crore countrymen. He further pointed out that Uttar Pradesh was plagued by both “Mafias and Mosquitoes,” but Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath successfully eradicated these issues. Under the leadership of respected Shri Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh is making significant strides forward.

Shri Shah said that in Gujarat, there is a saying that if one action can achieve three goals, it should be done immediately. So, every vote cast for Shri Neeraj Shekar will accomplish three things: it will make Shri Neeraj Shekar an MP, it will help ensure that respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi becomes the Prime Minister for the third time, and it will be a tribute to Shri Chandrashekhar.  After the formation of the BJP government, a 100-bed hospital will be established in Sonbarsa within a year.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister said that when the Samajwadi Party was in power in Uttar Pradesh, there was widespread hooliganism, and illegal land grabbing, and the state was under the control of mafias. However, our leader Shri Yogi Adityanath has worked diligently to tackle these issues and bring law and order back to the state. Previously, Uttar Pradesh had factories manufacturing country-made pistols. Now, with the establishment of the Defense Corridor, the state is producing top-quality shells and Brahmos missiles. In the event of a war, the cannonballs manufactured in Uttar Pradesh will deliver a fitting response to the enemies.

Shri Shah said that there were instances where electricity was unavailable on Janmashtami while being provided round the clock during Ramzan. However, under the Bharatiya Janata Party government, efforts have been made to ensure 24-hour electricity supply during festivals like Holi and Diwali

Hon’ble Union Home Minister said that Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has spearheaded transformative development initiatives in Uttar Pradesh. Under his leadership, 14 expressways were constructed, nearly 12 thousand kilometers of roads were built, new airports were established, and metro projects are underway in 12 cities. Additionally, 68 medical colleges were established, along with the development of defense corridors, medical device parks, and food parks. The honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has diligently worked towards making Uttar Pradesh an exemplary stat

Hon’ble Union Home Minister said that the Samajwadi Party’s government was responsible for the 1989 firing on Adivasis in Sonbhadra. While the SP government failed the Adivasi community, the BJP government has provided numerous benefits to them. The Van Adhikar Patta, which was neglected by the Samajwadi Party, is now being distributed under the BJP government. If Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji is elected Prime Minister for a third term, every Adivasi family will receive their Van Adhikar Patta before the next election.

Shri Shah said that the SP exploited illegal mining to deprive Adivasis of their rights, while Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji established the District Mineral Fund to reserve a portion of the extracted minerals for the Adivasi community. SP government stalled the Kanhar Project for decades and praised the BJP for completing it to provide irrigation water to Adivasi fields. Under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, the BJP has eradicated Naxalism from the Sonbhadra region, which borders Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh, and has focused on developing Adivasi areas.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister said that the issue of drinking water scarcity in Mirzapur and Sonbhadra was highlighted, noting that it was a major problem three years ago. However, the BJP is now working to address this issue through the “Nal se Jal” program, aiming to ensure that every home receives water. It was mentioned that Sonbhadra was previously treated unfairly, with electricity generated in Obra and Anpara not reaching the local population. Under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, electricity has now been brought to every household.

Shri Shah said that Smt Rinky Kol’s election symbol is a cup, while the candidate for MLA’s election symbol is a lotus. Pressing any of the buttons for these symbols will ensure Shri Narendra Modi is re-elected as Prime Minister in Delhi. Incumbent MP from Sonbhadra Shri Pakodi Lal worked for development work, including the construction of a four-lane road from Chandauli to Sheikpur, the completion of the Ring Road Phase One, the redevelopment of Sonbhadra, Renukoot, and Chandauli railway stations under the Amrit Bharat Yojana, and the introduction of the Vande Bharat train and the Rajdhani Express from Robertsganj.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister said that the infrastructure achievements under Shri Pakodi Lal’s tenure, such as the doubling of the railway line in Robertsganj, the construction of an overbridge at the Sakaldiha railway crossing costing ₹33 crore, the road from Silpi to MP Border costing ₹21 crore, and the widening of the Amda-Sakaldiha road costing ₹56 crore. He also mentioned the expansion of the Son River bridge, the establishment of a medical college in Churk, and the ongoing construction of another government medical college in Naubatpur. He noted the installation of a 600-megawatt power plant in Obra and the provision of homes to 1,10,000 Adivasis, gas connections to 4,50,000 Adivasis, toilets to 7,60,000 households, and the Kisan Samman Nidhi to 4,10,000 farmers.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister said that under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, several welfare initiatives have been implemented. These include providing 5 kg of food grains per person per month to 7 lakh poor individuals, the successful Chandrayaan mission reaching the moon, and the launch of Aditya, all of which contribute to the welfare of the nation’s poor.

Shri Shah warned that if Rahul Gandhi’s INDI Alliance wins, they have no clear candidate for Prime Minister. Figures like Sharad Pawar, Uddhav Thackeray, Lalu Yadav, Rahul Gandhi, Mamta Banerjee, and Akhilesh Yadav cannot become Prime Minister. INDI Alliance claims there will be five Prime Ministers in five years, but they do not realize that this is not a grocery shop; this is the great nation of 130 crore people. Only Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji can give a strong response to Pakistan. Only Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji can provide gas, electricity, water, and food to 60 crore poor people, save the nation from diseases like COVID-19, and make India’s presence felt worldwide. Everywhere he goes, the chant of “Modi-Modi” echoes, and this chant has become synonymous with a Viksit Bharat”. Today is a festival of democracy. Shri Shah appealed to everyone to ensure a resounding victory for Shri Pankaj Chaudhary and Shri Shashank Mani Tripathi and re-elect Shri Narendra Modi as Prime Minister.
