Varanasi offered an electrifying welcome to Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his spectacular roadshow in the city. The event commenced with the PM paying floral tributes at the statue of Pt. Madan Mohan Malaviya Ji.
As the convoy made its way through the streets, throngs of people, chanting “Har-Har Mahadev,” “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” and “Modi-Modi,” gathered to catch a glimpse of the Prime Minister.
“The love and blessings I received from all of you during the road show are incomparable and unparalleled. I am overwhelmed and filled with emotions! Ten years have passed in the shade of your affection, without even realising it. Back then, I had said that Maa Ganga had called me. Today, Maa Ganga has embraced me,” PM Modi shared on social media platform ‘X’.
Reflecting on the vibrant atmosphere, he added, “The enthusiastic participation from people of all ages and walks of life, from children to the elderly, and from women to my young companions, has left an indelible mark on my heart.”
