Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on September 1st paid last respects to former President Bharat Ratna Shri Pranab Mukherjee at his residence in 10 Rajaji Marg, New Delhi.

  • In a tweet Shri Narendra Modi said “Paid tributes to respected Shri Pranab Mukherjee. He would be remembered by generations for his efforts towards India’s progress.”
  • Earlier expressing grief over former president Shri Pranab Mukherjee’s demise, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi described him as a scholar par excellence and a towering statesman who was admired across the political spectrum.
