Senior BJP leader & Union Minister Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad exposed big lies of the Kejriwal Govt’s on its dubious door-step ration delivery scheme in Delhi. Here are the key points of his speech: 

  • The door step ration delivery is yet another scam of the Arvind Kejriwal government in Delhi. The Arvind Kejriwal government is now totally in control of the ration mafia. Though doorstep ration delivery might look good and lucrative but it is a big scam and a fraud on the people of Delhi.
  • When 34 states of the country have successfully implemented the ‘One Nation, One Ration Card’ scheme, why has it not been implemented in Delhi by the Arvind Kejriwal government?
  • After seizing 4 lakh fake ration cards in four months in Delhi in 2018, why has the Arvind Kejriwal government stopped the PoS authentication system in Delhi? When will the Arvind Kejriwal government start PoS authentication of ration cards which has been put on hold in Delhi since 2018? 
  • Arvind Kejriwal ji, will you send any new proposal to the Central Government or continue to play politics over the ration which the Central Government sends for people in Delhi? If you have any good scheme, send it to the Central Government, the Central Government will provide ration at cheaper rates for the benefit of people of Delhi.
  • Why does the Arvind Kejriwal government not have any data of ration card holder  beneficiaries of SC-ST category? Does the Delhi government have any answer to what priorities they have for SC ST beneficiaries? 
  • The Arvind Kejriwal government failed to provide oxygen and medicines to Corona affected people during the crisis, the same government is talking about doorstep ration delivery in Delhi!
  • The Central Government makes arrangements to supply wheat at Rs. 2 per kg and rice at Rs. 3 per kg when the market rate of wheat is Rs. 27 per kg and of rice Rs. 37 per kg. The Central Government spends nearly Rs. 2 lakh crores every year on food subsidies.  
  • Under the Pradhanmantri Gareeb Kalyan Anna Yojna, Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji announced free rations for over 80 crore people in the country till November last year. This year also, the Narendra Modi government has announced free rations for over 80 crore needy and poor people across the country. 
  • The Central Government purchased foodgrains, it spent money on it, then distributed it to the state governments. Now it is the responsibility of the state government to ensure fair distribution of foodgrains to needy people as per the law; and here they are crying conspiracy!
  • The Arvind Kejriwal government is always cribbing and alleging that the Central Government is not allowing it to work. But, the fact is that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will do nothing and will only give statements on TV. They failed to implement good schemes like NFSA and PMGKAY promoted by the Narendra Modi government. The Arvind Kejriwal government has been a big flop.
  • The Narendra Modi Government sends 37,573 tonnes of foodgrains for 73 lakh people of Delhi in crores are spent by the Central Government as subsidy. The Delhi government door to door ration delivery is nothing but a big sham and it’s real intention and aim is to promote corruption and scam in PDS scheme.
  • The Arvind Kejriwal government in Delhi does not have any scheme of its own. The roots of the ration mafia are so strong that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had to cancel PoS authentication after 4 lakh ration cards were seized in Delhi.
