Union Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh addressed public meetings in Jamui and Banka, Bihar on Sunday.  During the event, Bihar Deputy Chief Ministers Shri Vijay Kumar Sinha and Shri Samrat Choudhary, LJP(R) President Shri Chirag Paswan, and NDA candidates from Jamui, Shri Arun Bharti and from Banka Shri Giridhari Yadav among other leaders were present. In his address, Shri Rajnath Singh stated that the NDA government has always worked towards development and nation-building. Shri Singh praised Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for making India a global leader while criticizing the opposition for engaging in appeasement politics and hurting Hindu sentiments.

Shri Rajnath Singh commenced his address by paying homage to Late Shri Ram Vilas Paswan and recalled his contributions to the NDA. Shri Singh then praised LJP(R) President Shri Chirag Paswan by stating that he is the star run-hitter of the NDA pitch, capable of making as many runs as needed. Shri Chirag Paswan is leading the LJP(R) today, expressing full confidence that he would fulfill the dreams of Shri Ram Vilas Paswan.

Shri Singh extended his best wishes to the public for B.R. Ambedkar’s birth anniversary and assured on behalf of the NDA that only those associated with the alliance could fulfill the aspirations Baba Ambedkar had for the people of India. Additionally, Shri Singh conveyed his best wishes to the public for the auspicious day of Navratri. Shri Singh stated that Shri Arun Bharti is a polite and dignified individual, and after becoming a Member of Parliament, he will definitely fulfill the role of being the public’s servant in an effective manner.

Shri Rajnath Singh stated that the people elected the NDA government under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in 2014 and 2019, and today the whole world believes that Shri Narendra Modi will become the Prime Minister of India for the third time. He conveyed that leaders of other countries have already begun to reserve time for Shri Narendra Modi for the next few years and have started inviting him to their respective countries. Shri Singh mentioned that while elections may create an atmosphere of uncertainty, they are merely a formality. The people of the country have accepted Shri Narendra Modi as their Prime Minister for the third time, and now this fact is known worldwide.

Shri Singh emphasized that NDA leaders have always engaged in politics with sincerity, directly addressing the concerns of the people rather than deceiving them. The character of the NDA has been such that they have consistently adhered to what they have promised. Shri Singh stated that if anyone examines the NDA’s manifesto, they will realize that the NDA has fulfilled everything it promised. There was a promise to abolish Article 370 and after securing a majority in both houses of Parliament, Article 370 was indeed revoked. Building a grand mandir for Bhagwan Ram in Ayodhya was also a promise, people used to mock it, but on January 22, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi performed the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla, fulfilling this promise as well. Shri Singh emphasized that Ram Lalla has transitioned from his humble abode to his Mandir. No force in the world can hinder the commencement of Ram Rajya in India.

Shri Rajnath Singh stated that when every citizen of India works with dedication to develop the country, it embodies the principles of ‘Ram Raj.’ He mentioned that when the central government abolished Triple Talaq, some people accused them of being anti-Muslim. However, in reality, the NDA never discriminates based on caste, religion, region etc. Shri Singh emphasized that one should never do politics to form a government but rather to serve the country. He criticized Lalu Yadav and his family for claiming to imprison PM Shri Narendra Modi if the INDI Alliance forms the government, though their victory is next to impossible. Shri Singh countered that an alliance whose leaders are either in jail or on bail could not possibly send PM Shri Narendra Modi to jail. He questioned the purpose of making and sharing videos of eating fish or any other non-veg item, alleging that it was done to impress a specific vote bank of the society.

Union Defence Minister stated that RJD and Congress promised 10 lakh employment but did not provide a single job. He mentioned that RJD and Congress claim themselves as well-wishers of the backward, but in reality, they are enemies of the backward. Shri Singh stated that as the CM of Uttar Pradesh, he implemented the arrangement for reservation made by Shri Karpoori Thakur in the state, but the RJD and Congress have no respect for him. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi honored Late Shri Karpoori Thakur with Bharat Ratna. The RJD and Congress did not pay attention to the longstanding demand of giving the OBC commission constitutional status. Shri Singh highlighted that the opposition only does politics for the sake of themselves and their families, while the NDA works for nation-building. The opposition has made various allegations against Shri Nitish Kumar, but they have not been able to provide evidence of a single corruption charge against him.

Shri Singh alleged the opposition for opposing the Kaka Kalekar report, Mandal commission and still presenting themselves as ‘Pichdo Ke Masiha’. There were instances of unemployment and paper leaks during the Congress and RJD rule. Shri Rajnath Singh emphasized the historical significance of Bihar, highlighting how individuals like Prince Siddhartha were transformed into Mahatma Buddha and Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi into Mahatma Gandhi. Shri Singh noted the significant shift in India’s global perception. Previously, before 2014, India was often perceived as a weaker nation, with other countries viewing it with less confidence. However, in recent times, the world has paid much closer attention to India, indicating a notable improvement in its global standing and influence.

Shri Rajnath Singh highlighted a significant event where eight former Indian Navy personnel, employed in Qatar, faced arrest and were condemned to death by the Qatar court. However, following a telephonic discussion between Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the President of Qatar, all eight individuals were promptly released and safely returned to India. Shri Singh appealed to voters to support the NDA and ensure that no seat should be left where an NDA candidate should not win. Shri Singh assured that after forming the government, within a month, everybody above 70 years regardless of caste or religion, will get a free treatment of Rs 5 Lakh under Ayushman Bharat. Shri Singh highlighted that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has worked on basic necessities like water and toilets, which were previously overlooked by the government. The Union Defence Minister highlighted India’s conduct of surgical strikes in response to terror attacks, showcasing the strength of the Indian defence forces. Shri Rajnath Singh appealed to the public to support Shri Arun Bharti and Shri Giridhari Yadav and ensure all 40 seats of Bihar to the NDA.
