Amit Shah flagged off ‘Jan Vishwas Yatra’ in Tripura

Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah along with Tripura Chief Minister Shri Manik Saha and other senior leaders flagged off Bharatiya Janata Party ‘Jan Vishwas Yatra’ at Dharmanagar on 05 January, 2023. The Yatra will last for eight days and cover around 60 constituencies of the poll-bound Tripura. The purpose of Jan Vishwas Yatra programme is to strengthen the party support base in the state. The Yatra will showcase the developmental works the BJP government has done since 2018

After flagging off the Yatra, union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah and Tripura Chief Minister Shri Manik Saha addressed a huge gathering during the Jan Vishwas Yatra at Dharmanagar. “I sincerely thank all the brothers and sisters who came for supporting BJP’s ‘Jan Biswas Yatra’ in such large numbers. People’s faith in BJP proves that this time BJP will get a massive majority bigger than before in Tripura.
While addressing the event, the Home Minister said, “The communist government had included the employees of Tripura in the 5th Pay Commission and Biplab Bhai gave them the 7th Pay Commission. Congress is finished in the country and Communist are finished in the world.”

Despite being rich in natural beauty, the tourism industry did not flourish in Tripura due to communist violence. The BJP government has developed the infrastructure of the tourism industry in such a way that it has increased 11 times over the previous five years, he added.

During the communist regime, the drugs and smuggling problem in Tripura increased to a great extent. BJP has tackled this drugs problem and curbing intruders as well as providing income to the youth here, he said.

Shri Shah said the people of Tripura trusted BJP to form a single majority government and BJP took everyone along and will position the state at the height of development.

‘Jan Vishwas Yatra’ will cover Dhamanagar in North Tripura district to Sabroom in South Tripura district.

Tripura BJP started the Jan Vishwas Yatra to strengthen the party support base in the state.

The Yatra will last for eight days and cover around 60 constituencies of the state.
The main purpose of the Yatra is to showcase the developmental works the BJP government has done since 2018.

BJP National President Shri JP Nadda will be present on the concluding day of the Yatra on January 12 and he will address a massive rally.
