Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah said Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has set ‘politics of development’ as the main agenda, putting an end to the menace of dynasty politics, corruption and appeasement. Shri Modi has rekindled the faith of democracy in the minds of people and has been working to elevate the standard of living of the poor, Shri Amit Shah said while speaking at a seminar on the book ‘Modi@20- Dreams Meet Delivery’ in Chhattisgarh.

Shri Shah released ‘Modi@20-Dreams Meet Delivery’ in Raipur, Chhattisgarh on 27 August 2022. The book contains 21 articles penned by experts from different fields which highlight the good governance of Narendra Modi as Chief Minister of Gujarat and the Prime Minister of India in the last 20 years.

Shri Shah said when BJP formed the government in 2014 and Shri Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister, he laid emphasis on politics of performance and politics of development which is leading this country to transform itself into a developed nation.

When Modiji took over, nepotism, corruption and appeasement were dominating the politics in India. PM Shri Modi healed these three and introduced the politics of performance. There were 60 million people who had no electricity, no gas in their homes, there was no toilet and crores of people had no homes. But Shri Narendra Modi solved all these problems because he has come from such a poor background.
Shri Modi got the opportunity to decide on two Presidents. He justified and made Shri Ramnath Kovind, a Dalit leader, President of India followed by the first tribal woman President in the form of Smt. Droupadi Murmu. The tribals of the country including Chhattisgarh are taking pride in this.
