The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi on 28 November saluted the spirit of all the people associated with Uttarkashi tunnel rescue operation. Shri Modi said that the success of the Uttarkashi Tunnel rescue operation of our labor brothers is an emotional moment for everyone.
Acknowledging the courage and patience of those who were trapped in the tunnel, he wished them good health. The Prime Minister added that everyone involved in this mission has set an amazing example of humanity and teamwork.
Uttarakhand chief minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami and Union minister Shri VK Singh welcomed the 41 workers who were evacuated from the Silkyara tunnel after a gruelling rescue operation.

The workers expressed gratitude to the Uttarakhand government and Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami for the successful rescue operation.
The Prime Minister affirmed to the workers that they were safe and in good health with the divine blessings of Kedarnath Baba and Badrinath Ji. He emphasized the regular updates he received throughout the rescue operation. He admired their families’ patience and unwavering support during this challenging time.
