Union Home & Cooperation Minister Amit Shah flags off Narendra Modi Cross Country Slum Race Competition

Thousands of slum-dwellers participate in the competition and fulfill the dream of PM Modi’s Khelo India Fit India Movement

On the occasion of the birthday of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, 17 September, Delhi BJP organized PM Narendra Modi Cross Country Slum Run. The race was flagged off by Union Home & Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah, which started from Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium and concluded at India Gate. The Union Ministers Shri Hardeep Singh Puri and Shri Nisith Parmanik, BJP National Vice President and Delhi in charge Shri Baijayant Jay Panda, State President Shri Adesh Gupta and other senior leaders took part in it.

The objective of this competition was to bring out the talent living in slums and bring them in front of the people. T-shirt and refreshments were given to the participants in the competition organized keeping in mind the Khelo India Fit India Movement, while the winning participants received a prize money and certificate from Delhi BJP.
