Shri Nadda and Shri Shah also held a meeting with IT and Social Media teams at the National Library. Both the leaders told the social media teams to focus on nationalism and love for our country. They asked them to focus on corruption of Trinamool Congress, ‘Parivaarbaad’, appeasement politics and unemployment in the state.

Around 1,500 plus social media volunteers, were present at the meeting. Earlier, Shri Nadda and Shri Shah offered prayers at Gurdwara Bara Sikh Sangat on Jorasanko in Kolkata on the occasion of ‘Veer Bal Diwas’. They also did pujas at Kalighat Temple, Kolkata ahead of the strategy meeting.

Addressing the meeting of IT and social media Team in Kolkata Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda said, “Our social media volunteers play a vital role in taking our ideology and works to the people, as well as countering the falsehoods that are peddled against us.
In Bengal, they also have the important responsibility of making people aware of the blatant corruption of TMC and the hindrance they have been causing to central government’s developmental work. I am confident that our social media volunteers will work with utmost dedication in the upcoming elections to ensure BJP’s victory”.

He said Karyakartas in Bengal have made the biggest sacrifices and even attained martyrdom. We did not have a single MLA here but now we have 77 in Bengal and 18 Lok Sabha members. If we can achieve 77 seats from 0, then we can form a government with two-third majority also.

I GUARANTEE THAT MODI JI WILL MAKE SONAR BANGLA: AMIT SHAH

While addressing the meeting of the West Bengal BJP social media workers at the National Library, Shri Amit Shah urged that the leaders remain prepared to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha election. He reiterated that the BJP would win over 35 seats in West Bengal in the 2024 election.

The Union Home Minister said, “In the 2019 general elections, the BJP had set a target and bagged 18 seats. This time BJP is targeting to win 35 out of the 42 Lok Sabha seats in West Bengal in the coming polls”.

“In West Bengal the BJP’s electoral success hinges on its social media strength. This is because the regional media does not carry our message for fear of Didi,” he told the gathering.

Urging the party workers to give 35 seats from the land of Jana Sangh founder Syama Prasad Mookerjee, he said, “I guarantee that Modi Ji will make Sonar Bangla [Golden Bengal].”

Shri Shah added that when Ms. Banerjee ousted the communists in Bengal, people were happy and had hoped that conditions in the State would improve. “But what she gave instead was worse than that…. Forming a BJP government in West Bengal will mean the end of infiltration, cow smuggling, and the citizenship to religiously persecuted people through CAA”.
