BJP Kisan Morcha National Executive held in Karnataka

The two-day Executive meeting of BJP National Kisan Morcha was held on January 29-30 in Belagavi, Karnataka, under the chairmanship of Morcha National President Shri Rajkumar Chahar. Member of the BJP Parliamentary Board and former Karnataka Chief Minister Shri B.S. Yediyurappa and BJP National General Secretary Shri CT Ravi were present in the inaugural session of the meeting. The Executive meeting culminated with the inspiring address of BJP National General Secretary (Organisation) Shri BL Santhosh. Morcha National Office Bearers, Morcha State Presidents, Morcha Executive Members, and other Office Bearers were present in the meeting.

Addressing the gathering Shri Rajkumar Chahar said today, India is creating new records under the dynamic leadership of PM Shri Narendra Modi. Now, India is the fifth-largest economy and emerging power in the world. He said Prime Minister Shri Modi has been increasing the agriculture budget since 2014 only for the welfare of the farmers and the farming community. By implementing the report of the Swaminathan Commission, the Modi government has increased the MSP, by one and a half times the cost of production and at the same time for the empowerment of the farmers, implemented many welfare schemes like PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi, Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maan-dhan (PM- SYM), Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Soil Health Card, e-Nam Mandi, PM-KUSUM, Kisan Rail, Krishi UDAN, etc.

The Kisan Morcha also took a resolution to organise a ‘PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi beneficiary contact program’ throughout the country on 24 February.
