Election rally in Barrackpur, West Bengal

Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is not the end, our mission is to reconstruct Shiv Mandir in Gyanvapi complex, we have to reconstruct Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi, and our mission is to implement the Unified Civil Code (UCC) in the nation. So, we need 400 MPs in the parliament, Assam CM Shri Himanta Biswa Sarma said while addressing huge election rallies in Barrackpur and Hubli in West Bengal on 11 May, 2024.

Attacking the TMC Chief Mamta Banerjee, the Assam CM said, “Mamata Didi you always ask why we need 400 seats, we need it to end Muslim reservations in West Bengal, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh. We will ensure that the OBC reservations are only for Hindu backward classes and not for Muslims, so we need 400 seats. The Lok Sabha Election is the semifinal for us, we will not take rest until we form the BJP government in West Bengal”, Shri Sarma added.

The Assam CM said that the Bharatiya Janata Party will show tremendous results in the just concluded Lok Sabha election in the Northeast.

Speaking to reporters in Barrackpore, West Bengal, he said the BJP is expected to clinch 22 out of the 25 parliamentary seats in the Northeast region. He said, “BJP will win 22 out of 25 seats in the North East and in Assam BJP and alliance parties will win 12 out of 14 seats and there is a possibility of even winning 13 seats in Assam.”

CM Shri Sarma questioned Mamata Banerjee why she is resisting the CBI investigation into the Sandeshkhali case after the Supreme Court and High Court direction. He said, “Even the Supreme Court and Calcutta High Court have directed for a CBI inquiry of the Sandeshkhali case. What is your hesitation to allow the CBI investigation and whom do you want to safeguard?”, he questione.
