BJP WINS 4 SEATS IN UP & 1 SEAT IN MAHARASHTRA

MLC Election Results-2023

Counting on all the five seats in the Uttar Pradesh MLC election came to an end on 03 February, 2023. The Bharatiya Janata Party won four out of five seats, whereas an independent candidate won one. The Samajwadi Party faced defeat in all five seats. As far as BJP is concerned, it has won the Bareilly-Moradabad block graduate seat, Gorakhpur-Faizabad graduate seat, Kanpur-Unnao graduate block, and Jhansi-Allahabad teacher block seat in the elections. The independent candidate has won the Kanpur teacher’s block seat.

Similarly in Maharashtra, the BJP won only one seat. In the Konkan teachers seat, BJP candidate Shri Dnyaneshwar Mhatre defeated MVA-backed nominee Balaram Pati while four of those five seats were won by the MVA.
