Former Kerala BJP General Secretary (Organization) PP Mukundan passes away

Senior BJP leader Shri PP Mukundan, who was the former Kerala BJP General Secretary (Organization), passed away on September 13 in Kochi. He was 77.
He died at Amrita Hospital in Kochi, where Shri PP Mukundan was undergoing treatment for respiratory diseases. He was a former Rastriya Swayamsevak Sangh Pracharak. He belonged to Kannur, Kerala.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi condoled the demise of the leader. He said via X, “Mukundan Ji will be remembered for his simplicity and hard work. He and CK Padmanabhan were imprisoned in 1975 while he was serving as the Thrissur District Pracharak for opposing the Emergency. In 1991, he was given responsibility as the state BJP’s organisational secretary. He had previously worked at various levels of the RSS. He held the responsibility until 2005, and he was also South Temple Secretary for the BJP until 2007.
