Modi government is giving free ration to 80+ crore families since 2020. Free ration will be provided under PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana for the next 5 years.
• Modi Government has established Price Stabilization Fund for vegetables and pulses and efforts will continue to provide quality food to the poor by becoming Self-Reliant in the production of pulses, edible oils and vegetables.
• Modi government has provided quality and free health treatment up to Rs 5 lakh to poor families under Ayushman Bharat Yojna. Efforts will continue to increase free health coverage.
• Under Modi government, 4+ crore poor families were given permanent houses. Understanding the far-reaching benefits of this scheme, PM Awas Yojana will be expanded to provide quality housing facilities to every poor family.
• Modi government will ensure clean tap water to every household in villages, towns and cities. Using technology, water saving and its proper utilization will be ensured.
• It is the priority of the Modi government to provide Pakka houses to the poor families living in slums. A successful model has been established in this direction in the last 10 years. Slum redevelopment work will be done rapidly on this model.
• Modi government gave cooking gas connections to more than 10 crore beneficiaries under PM Ujjwala Yojana. This program will be expanded further by continuing this scheme.
• Through PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme of Modi Government, free electricity will be made available, so that the electricity bill of poor families becomes zero.
