BJP Rallies in Sikar and Dausa, Rajasthan
BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda addressed huge rallies in Raumavi (Dantaramgarh, Sikar) and Dausa of Rajasthan on November 22, 2023, and appealed to the people of Rajasthan to uproot the Congress government, a symbol of corruption, appeasement, and bad governance politics. He appealed to the people to form a double-engine BJP government for the development of the state. Shri Nadda said that the objective of these Rajasthan Legislative Assembly elections is to change the fate and picture of the state.
Difference between BJP and Congress rule
Shri Nadda said the Gehlot government has eclipsed Rajasthan’s people, warriors, patriots, saints and social reformers who sacrificed everything. He appealed to the public, saying that you have to remove this eclipse by making the BJP win. Highlighting the difference between BJP and Congress rule, he said that where there is Congress, there will be corruption, scams, atrocities against women, looting, and scams, but where there is BJP, there will be development, progress, respect for women and fulfilment of the aspirations of the youth. This will pave the way for the empowerment of villages, the poor and farmers.
Atrocities against women
Targeting the Congress, the BJP National President said in the Gehlot government, there is corruption, oppression of women, lies to the farmers, playing with the future of the youth, leaked papers, politics of religious appeasement. Gehlot government even made a scam of 450 crore in old age pension. He said Ashok Gehlot’s brother exported the subsidised fertilisers of farmers, Ashok Gehlot’s relatives took contracts worth 11 thousand crores in the last 5 years. He said that now the time has come to remove this corrupt Congress government from Rajasthan. It is with great sadness that I have to say that Rajasthan, famous for its values and peace, is today at number one in women’s harassment and crime rate. Recently, a policeman raped a 4 year old girl in Dausa. Every day in Rajasthan, we hear such news that women were raped and that acid was thrown on them. Talking about atrocities against women, he reminded the public of the incidents that took place in Churu, Alwar, Pratapgarh, Barmer and Bhilwara. If the public wants all these incidents to stop, then they should ensure the departure of the Gehlot government from Rajasthan on 25th November.
Loans of the farmers were not waived off
Shri Nadda said that Ashok Gehlot had promised the farmers that their loans would be waived off, but after the formation of the government, the Congress leaders kept counting 10 days, but the loans of the farmers were not waived off. The time has come to remove it. Far from giving loan waivers to farmers, on the contrary, the land of about 19,400 farmers in Rajasthan was confiscated. The time has passed to take revenge in a democratic way, and there is only one way to do this: the people should uproot the dishonest Congress government and give the BJP an opportunity to serve.
Referring to the incidents of religious frenzy that took place in the state, Shri Nadda said that slogans like ‘Sir Tan Se Juda’ were raised on the sacred land of Rajasthan, Kanhaiya Lal Teli was brutally murdered, and Ram Navami Shobha Yatra and Kanwar Yatra were banned. But PFI, a banned organisation, was given the right to take out a procession and deliver a speech, and bulldozers were used on Shivji temple. The people of this state do not want such a government; hence, on the 25th, we have to demolish such a corrupt and dishonest government.
